John McCain: We Won the Iraq War but Obama Ruined It.

Post by IraqVet2003 »

"MCCAIN THE INSANE" said we won the Iraq War????!!! What planet is he from or what has this guy been smoking!!!!! Iraq was lost the very moment the U.S. INVADED AND OCCUPIED the country under the BUSH/CHENEY administration!!! In addition to the over 5,000 U.S. troops who were killed, Over ONE MILLION IRAQIS WERE KILLED and another TWO MILLION HAVE BEEN DISPLACED. Also many of Iraq's ANCIENT ARTIFACTS ARE MISSING AND ARCHEOLOGICAL SITES RUINED (the Baghdad Museum was looted in 2003). And I wouldn't call $6 TRILLION in fraud, waste and abuse a win!! Even Bush Sr. had enough wisdom NOT to go into Iraq and take out Saddam during Operation Desert Storm back in 1991. Because while I'm neither a fan of either Saddam or Obama (and by the way it's interesting they both have "HUSSEIN" in their names) they knew back then that Iraq's main factions; the Sunnis, Shia, and Kurds would fight a CIVIL WAR to fill that power vacuum left after Saddam's demise!!! Now we have created a HUGE mess in the Middle-East and hope it doesn't turn into WW III!!! East
I just wish our leaders in Washington D.C. had heeded the words of the Founding Fathers of NOT GETTING INTO FOREIGN ENTANGLEMENTS!!! Also the U.S. should have taken the advise from John Adams, " We shouldn't seek monsters to fight abroad". I am sick and tired of WARMONGERS/WAR PROFITEERS constantly finding new conflicts to get us into (like the Ukraine/Russia/NATO Crisis). As for McCain and all of these "CHICKENHAWKS" in Congress many of these old men have been in government way too long and THEY NEED TO RETIRE!!!

IraqVet2003- Are you actually an Iraq veteran? I don't take issue with anything you're saying about the war (although I'd add that it made shit worse over here & might very well have been simply practice for doing that), I was just looking to find out more about how it actually went. Not entirely sure how much of the autobiographies are propaganda, you know?

McCain, Lindsay Graham, Chris Christie and Mitch McConnell are all Zionist-Neo Con fascists, that should be expunged from the Republican Party, immediately.

Yeah, my POV is that it could be done more or less lawfully by defining AIPAC as a foreign agent of influence, or even an espionage network, and defining folks funded by them as foreign agents.

Then take it from there.

Yes sure they have won by putting these people to kill each other, making them one against the others, creating a new hell in Syria, destroying the country by helping these jihadist insane guys.
I don't think this was a mistake in their plan..it's totally wanted and approved.

They can enjoy the show seeing these fanatics killing each other bringing back their countries to the middle age where they won't be a real threat compared to a powerful advanced Syrian country under the current gouvernement.

Imo every things what happened is not a damage who was not in some way controlled..it was done on purpose and if i where in their shoes,i would be really happy to see all these beheadings, killing, barbarity happening in Irak,Syria because it would help me grow stronger compared to powerfulls advanced government like those of the baathist.

In case anyone has forgotten, this is the same guy who said he wanted our troops to stay in Iraq for 100 years. Nothing new here though because every time McCain speaks it's about how we need to bomb, invade or go to war with some middle eastern country.

That's what Russia has done, and it's one of the big reasons Putin is being demonized so absurdly in the West. American agents trying to stir the pot in Russia, funded by the CIA and other American organizations -- gone.

Take AIPAC's money out of the equation, and you might start to get something close to a sane American foreign policy.

Wolfeye, the answer to your question is YES I really am an Iraq War Veteran. During the time I was deployed to Iraq in 2003, I was serving in the U.S. Army (2001-2005) and stationed at Fort Sill, Oklahoma near a town called Lawton. The unit I was assigned to had been the 6/27 Field Artillery, 75th Brigade. My MOS (Military Occupation Specialty) was being a cook and to support the MRLS (Multiple Rocket Launching System). Also, Wolfeye I was prior service meaning that I had served in the U.S. Air Force (1992-1996) and was stationed at Whiteman AFB, Missouri near a place called Knob Nobster. My job was working in supply and was assigned to the 509th Supply Squadron to support the B-2 Stealth bomber. So altogether I have 8yrs of active duty service.

Anyway as for my time in Iraq, my unit was sent to Camp Anaconda ( a former Iraqi airbase) which is near a town called Balad, some 60 miles north of Baghdad. Also, the part of the country we were in was known as the "Sunni Triangle". This was one of the most dangerous part of Iraq were everyday our base had been hit by rockets and mortar rounds. In fact Wolfeye, at one time after my group had finish their shift on tower guard duty, while riding back towards our tents, we came under heavy attack from mortars. Had any of those rounds came any closer, I wouldn't be writing about this now!!! But unfortunately, a medic in my unit was killed in an ambush on the way back to our base from Kuwait. And all the while we found NO WMDS in Iraq!!! Also the terror group Al-Qaeda was NOT PRESENT in the country until after we left.

Wolfeye, I had came to my anti-war views after the experience I just described and some deep soul searching. I had wondered WHY WAS THE U.S. IN IRAQ?... WHAT WAS I RISKING MY LIFE FOR??!! After all if there were NO WMDs, NO CONNECTION TO 9/11, and NO DEMOCRACY (After overthrowing Saddam). But I really had my "RED PILL MOMENT" after watching the documentaries "Farenheit 9/11" by Michael Moore, "The Oil Factor Behind the War On Terror", and "9/11-The Road to Tyranny" by Alex Jones. So I decided that the best way to protest this UNJUST, ILLEGAL, and ILLOGICAL war was to not REENLIST!!!

Hello,

I don't agree with you. When the Iraq-War started here in U.S.A. in 2003, I remember that 87% of the public approved it. But the American public just wanted something back for the attacks in 2001. Also, Americans tend to under-estimate the enemy and thought Iraq would be totally defeated in 3 years. By the time the year 2008 came, only 24% supported the Iraq-War. The Americans' want for getting the Muslims back was satisfied BUT the war wasn't going well. Had Iraq been under total control of U.S.A. 98% American men would have approved of it even in 2008.

The whole "Iraq War" was a farce conducted by the satanist scum to get more *ahem*... new blood. Ever notice all those soldiers, men, women, children were killed? Millions. If it was really a war, the USA would be shaking from various attacks from the enemy. It's not hard to destroy the US physically and financially. If there really was a foreign enemy to be fought, we'd be f***ed.
