The USA is failing to live up to its own values and NSA spying on its own allies is only tiny part of a huge iceberg. Don't delude yourself, the same story is in EU countries, Germany in particular. Merkel wants total control over Germans just the way Obama lusts it. In this sense both heads of the key countries can be compared to Hitler.
