Doesn't that create a problem for the establishment? From what I have read, in order for these cities to properly correspond to the stars, they would have to be thousands of years older than what we have conventionally believed them to be.

What happened to the Mayans, anyway? They had such a brilliant civilization, but Latin America is a real mess today.
