If the situation were reversed it would read "women are natural go-getters", "men are lazy and don't have the drive to succeed", etc. Instead of admiring men for their work ethic and ingenuity, they are demonized for "contributing to the wage gap".
Notice there's nothing in here about women not stepping up the plate and doing their part. It's always men's faults, always.
I have seen this psychology many, many times in women I have talked to. It always boggles my mind when guys complain about women wanting a rich guy, because the reaction I usually get from them is resentment, not admiration. She deserves to be making that money, not me! Institutional sexism! Teachers should be paid as much as bankers! It's a travesty!
In my experience AW want an obedient servant who makes less money than her and has good social ties. A fun-loving goofball better looking than herself that she can control.
