Another reason why you should not raise your kids in the US . I think Chile or Colombia may be better . At least they leave their citizens alone for the most part .

To be fair, this is a state issue in America. Michigan is a liberal cesspool. Homeschooling is fairly safe in a "red" state like Texas.

Michigan is actually becoming somewhat conservative. There is a lot I like about it politically, but it is starting to go south. The so called conservatives are lying about min. wage and medicad expansion. NH, Purto Rico, Utah, and Florida are the only places in the US I would consider, each for different reasons. Moving within Michigan is a possibility, finishing my school work and figuring things out. The weather and people are getting to me,and Obamacare, taxes, and the general culture depresses me. Colombia, Mexico,Chile,and maybe Brazil would be better it seems.
