Is he putting himself in danger, especially saying this before he is in office. Whether it is true or not, I have heard, whether it is true or not, that Kennedy threatened the CIA after the Bay of Pigs, and then he got shot by a lone gunman who got shot.

Is 'the Deep State' to vague a term for any group to be especially threatened?
