If it was reversed and topless males attacked and spat on lesbians outside a gay bar - imagine the world-wide news of "homophobic rapists" attacking poor women! There were apparently 7000 women at this meeting, but less would have been in this protect, so the men could have put them in their place if they wanted to.

I don't care if a man or a woman attacked me. I would instantly attack any person within the age range of 14-64 right back if they attacked me and I wouldn't hold anything back. I believe that if someone strikes you unprovoked or you don't know them and they are a threat then you should strike them back with much greater force. I don't believe in pacifism or being a pushover. A person either shows strength and demands respect or shows weakness and loses respect. The turn the other cheek is nonsense and that that is one of the reasons why much of Western Christianity is losing ground. A person or religion can be vigilant, defensive, and willing to go on the offensive and survive. The other option for a person or religion is that it can be pacifist, and continue to lose ground until dead.

I really don't think Christian pacifism is to blame here. If a group of men assaulted them in this way, they would have physically defended themselves without hesitation or question. Men are conditioned by society to be completely passive in the face of female aggression. Never talk back, never tell her no, do what she says, but most importantly never physically defend yourself against a female attacker under any circumstance. Not only that but men who defend themselves against female attackers are so demonized that the average guy will become enraged jump in and defend the woman who was the aggressor, even if they know she was the aggressor. The police almost always side with the woman so there's legal troubles to boot. I'm sure the male instinct to defend women is also at play here. More and more feminists are realizing these things and are taking advantage of them, which is why female on male attacks have skyrocketed.
