The survey results said:
82% of women said they would prefer to pay for their dinner on a first date
52% said they would happily pay for the entire bill on a first date
89% of women said they would not take up the offer from a man to carrying their bag
78% would not accept a coat from a man on a cold day
Only 34% of women said they expect men to open doors for them
8% said they would take up the offer of a seat if a man offered. In London, this figure was only 2 per cent.

Good. Now that women have more power than men should behave in a "lady like" way to men. I want to see women paying for my dinner, opening the doors for me, giving up their seats, and carrying my heavy bags. We have been doing this for them all these years, so now they should do the same to us.

Look British women may say "that they are prepared to pay for their meal", but let me tell you most will expect the man to pay or if he doesn't they will think he is a tight arse.

To see how tight British women are just watch them when they go for a meal - they nearly always pay for their own drinks individually and do not pay for a drink for their girlfriends when ordering a drink. When the bill comes watch them all try to separate the money out to the exact penny.

that survey is way off & such BS ... who doesn't appreciate chivalry; a door held open or a seat on the train ... I left my umbrella at work one day & it started to rain, some random guy shared his umbrella with me until I got to the station, never saw him again after that. Chivalry is a form of kindness.

American women are the same way. A study came out recently that said American women are the second least flirtacious women in the world! This study was done with 200 countries, so American women were ranked 199 out of 200.

Flirting with women in the US is an exercise in futility, as most of the time they won't recipocate. And of course, they won't initiate any flirting themselves. They see flirting as "creepy" and "weird."
