Clinton's original comments came in a Friday interview with Jake Tapper. The CNN host asked her about Trump's recent attacks, such as calling her "Crooked Hillary" and accusing her of "playing the woman's card."

"I have a lot of experience dealing with men who sometimes get off the reservation in the way they behave and how they speak," Clinton told Tapper. "I'm not going to deal with their temper tantrums or their bullying or their efforts to try and provoke me."
Amanda Renteria, Clinton's national political director, wrote on Twitter that the Democratic frontrunner "meant no disrespect to Native Americans."
