"Kimberly Smedley, 45, pleaded guilty Wednesday in federal court in Baltimore. The Georgia resident admitted that she administered silicone injections to women in hotel rooms in the District, Baltimore and other cities between 2003 and 2011. During that time, she was paid a total of more than $200,000 for the injections."
"Silicone is not approved for such injections by the Food and Drug Administration. Smedley also told women who received buttocks implants that the silicone was medical grade, but it actually was meant to be used for metal or plastic lubrication, as an additive for paint or in furniture or auto polishes, court documents say."
"Smedley stored the silicone in an unlabeled water jug and used super glue and cotton balls on the women to prevent silicone from leaking out after the injections, her plea agreement says. Authorities learned of the scheme after an exotic dancer in Baltimore was hospitalized for shortness of breath after receiving the implants and doctors found silicone in her lungs, a criminal complaint says. The woman reported that she received nine injections in each buttock and also got injections in her hips."
This woman sounds like she was a real pain in the ass, literally and figuratively!
