I wonder whether we are going to see Western doctors taking major pay cuts or losing their jobs altogether. Their industry is one of the few holdouts where this is not happening. Pilots, scientists, increasingly programmers and other formerly prestigious professions have all been getting the shaft over the last decade or two. Maybe it is doctors' turn now.
