Russia Might Save Assad

It appears that Russia is about to save Assad from ISIL (armed and created by America) and the American-sponsored moderate rebels. (and America which has threatened to bomb the Syrian military if they target the American-sponsored moderate rebels).

Looks like Russia will be dealing a major blow to America's plans of removing Assad from power, and inserting a puppet to rule Syria as an American Vassal State. Assuming Russia gives support to Assad then it is unlikely that America will be able to accomplish a regime change in Syria.
