Hmmm looks like inflation and hyperinflation are pretty mild when compared to the Soviet, German Nazi, Japanese, UK, US invasions of various countries and civil wars (ie China and Russia). If they want to frighten people then hyperinflation is going to have to be worse than all those wars.

Not sure I trust that article. Western media has always had it in for Chavez and it can't be a coincidence that things spiral out of control right after he died.

I suspect Americans think this can never happen in USA.
