Former Pennsylvania classmates of Idaho murder suspect Bryan Christopher Kohberger said he was an intellectual who "was very interested in the way the mind works" but bullied for his weight and socially awkwardness...

Sarah Healey, who went to Pleasant Valley High School with Kohberger, said he was shy and kept to himself and a small group of friends, but some of their classmates – especially girls – mocked Kohberger and threw things at him.

"It was bad," Healey said. "There was definitely something off about him, like we couldn't tell exactly what it was. I remember one time when I was walking in the hallway, and he stopped me and was like, ‘Do you want to hang out?’"....

Healey said she heard other girls tell Kohberger in their high school to "go away, creep" or "I don't want to hang out with you."

"I honestly think that's what led up to this, because he didn't get the proper help, and it was mainly females that bullied him," Healey said.

He was known for being "creepy" at a bar he frequented.

In the bar's system, staff had added notes that would pop up when his ID was scanned, Serulneck said.

“Staff put in there, ‘Hey, this guy makes creepy comments, keep an eye on him. He’ll have two or three beers and then just get a little too comfortable,'" he said.

Serulneck said Kohberger would ask the female staff or customers who they were at the brewery with, where they lived and what their work schedule was. He said if the women blew him off, “he would get upset with them a little bit,” noting that one time he called one of his staff members a disparaging term when she refused to answer his questions.

I read one article that said he was doing heroin in high school and then quit that addiction somehow. Heroin literally ruins people where they don't come back. The choice of criminology for his studies may have been as if he wanted to study criminals because subconsciously his inherent nature is "criminal".

It would be very normal for him to travel across the country to another state to study as a PhD student to become a professor. Of course, the weird thing is a criminal justice PhD student stabbing multiple women to death. If he did it, was he studying criminal justice to understand himself better? Did he want to specialize in something he had personal experience with? There are advantages to having a passion about what you do for a living. In academia, it helps to be passionate about what you study. Did he take this route of study to try to gain in depth knowledge on how to cover his tracks?

Is it possible that someone like this could be was a very 'successful' but under-the-radar serial killer and that hasn't been discovered yet? Were there unsolved stabbings in Pennsylvania?

I do agree that I actually don’t believe this guy committed the murders. He said something about “looking forward to clearing up all this misunderstanding” and idk that just doesn’t sound like something someone would say if they were guilty. My mom seems to think he’s innocent too.

They also allege that the prime suspect was stalking his victims ahead of the murders - with their cell phone locations matching up on several occasions.

The thing is.....when news reports show these types of stories (murderers, school shooters, etc).....a counter-effect is that it instills in American women's minds everywhere that men are bad by default. The fact of the matter is that most women distrust men by default. I'm in a WhatsApp group chat and this guy from TN told me that a young woman's parents had an app on her phone that tracked her location so they knew where she was when her boyfriend went with her to places. There is a high level of distrust of men in this country. It's just as worse if you're a nice, normal guy who is a loner without many friends.
