In which countries do employers do background checks?
How old are you E? If you're under 30 you can go to quite a few countries like Ireland, Australia, NZ South Korea on work holiday visas. I got one of these in 2004 & worked in the UK, they're really easy to get. The only EU cuntry that will allow you to find work & stay is Germany, you can then apply for a residence permit to remain if u find long-term work. This is subject to approval by the government employment office though - Bundesagentur für Arbeit.
