There is a power of the mind, a law that springs fourth from you that has the potential to and sometimes molds the holographic fabric of the universe ( to which your subconscious mind is connected) into events as per your order. It requires concentration and a focused signal directed into the time/space. It can even be done by atheists with enough concentration.
But all these religions would call this power- God(s) or Jesus or/ and dress it in allegories and use very ancient fable-like folkloric explanations which should be taken symbolically, not literally. Just like they used to think that electricity was dragon's breath or God hurling arrows from heaven. Symbolisms. These religious were created in primitive times and explained things in fairy tale words. Believing them to be true literally is a big mistake. Just like you would not believe that there was actually a talking ant and a grasshopper. But the idea behind these things which can be discerned if you read between the lines suggests deeper truth.

Imagining the primary life force of the universe as some kind of a giant ghost flying around in the skies is just an allegory. That should be taken as such. Which does not mean that the fundamental force like that does not exist. It is just that it is not easy for an average guy to harness that energy. We can do it sometimes when we focus very very hard and are in an elevated state of mind. Most people have hard time doing it. It requires a lot of mental focus.

So when religious people say that nothing is impossible with God or that faith can move mountains, they are right. But they forget to mention one word- "potentially". As far as just a regular person being able to do that, well, he may not succeed as much. Only people who are very very spiritual and who practice religion daily can get some handle on that power. But few people have been able to regularly manifest such a control over the environment.

E-mc2 is a correct formula. But it does not mean that every Joe Blow can grab an axe and just start splitting atoms.

The experiences described by Winston are true. The only question remaining is: how can we harness that power better? Achieve more results? Change our destinies faster? Hone the ability so much that we can just think and things manifest. That is the hardest part.
A brain is a terrible thing to wash!
