Humanity - instinct for submission and instinct for freedom

Post by MrPeabody »

It seems that man has been created with two instincts: an instinct for submission and an instinct for freedom.

The instinct for submission comes from the tendency of higher level animals to form herds and be led by alpha male killers. Throughout human history, the mass of humanity has been led by a relatively few kings, emperors, sultans, and their associated nobility. A few live in luxury while the masses subsist under the yoke of slavery.

But there is also an instinct for freedom. The hierarchies never last forever, and against overwhelming odds, revolutions are organized by the once powerless. Thus, we have a cycle where the old hierarchies mature, and as they weaken from corruption, the new forces of revolution exploit the opportunity and take over, new leaders are installed, and a new hierarchy created.

In the past, major movements for freedom have always been religious movements. Consider, for example pre-Islamic Mecca. This was an anything goes society of violence and rule by a few tribal heads over a class of slaves. Into this degradation, Muhammad is born. In less then a generation, he transforms the culture, and creates laws that protect the weak and defenseless, frees the slaves, establishes a duty of charity for the rich, and proclaims that all men are equal before God. Christianity, also proclaimed every man equal before God and improved conditions compared to pagan Europe and is correctly referred to by Nietzsche as a slave revolt. Of course, Moses also led a slave revolt.

Thus, there are numerous examples in the past, where religious movements seem to be a manifestation of the impulse to freedom and have the ability to organize oppressed masses of people towards the common goal of liberation and equality.

But, our world is now once again devolving to the tyranny of former times, and the elite few are again assuming control - the end result - a new royalty ruling over the many, a class of slaves. But this time there is a difference. The new royalty will have access to advance technology to chip and carefully monitor every human being on earth. The control grid will detect rebellious thoughts a few minutes after they are formed. A potential Muhammad will be identified and eliminated before he sees his first birthday. In a world without privacy, revolutions will be quickly identified and snuffed out. They will have so much control that the human race will be in slavery forever.

If all we are is material substance, that is DNA, cells, and brains, then there appears to be little hope for humanity, because ultimately matter can be totally controlled by technology. The only thing that could alter the above scenario is if there is a God who can intervene and arrange events so that the new Moses, Jesus, or Mohammad can survive and move the world towards freedom. Thus, it appears that if there is no God, the human race is eventually destined for perpetual slavery, because only God, as a non-material entity, would have the power to defeat advance surveillance and control technology.

Your conclusion sounds awful pessimistic. We haven't lost yet, education is the key. Because we're doomed for lack of knowledge. Of course I'm not talking about the in-formation the control grid feeds us.

Every person can access god, it's called the pineal gland.

It's the reason there is sodium fluoride in the water, to calcify it. And it's the reasons cell phones and wi-fi was released, to disrupt it.
However this can be reversed.

Very good MrPeabody. The reason that freedom depends on religion is because most humans have a natural need for an alpha leader, and God serves as a virtual alpha who satisfies this need, thereby allowing people to be free and equal under a virtual alpha.

As for technology, don't worry about that. As society breaks down, so will technology. Even today, technology makes little difference in the third world. And as society breaks down, religion will rise and some new religious leader will likely emerge to start the next round of civilization in a few centuries.

But, you are looking at it from the materialistic perspective, i.e. that there isn't really a God, but that a religious belief system is still useful manipulation to lead a people. However, technology can supply an alpha leader. The mass media does it all the time creating movie star heroes, as well as sock puppet politicians like Obama. The same technology .that imposes total control, also creates an "alpha leader" when needed. What I was saying is that if there literally isn't a God, i.e., a supernatural entity that can override technology, then we are all doomed. This follows from the hypothesis that technology can ultimately control material reality. If we are only material, without any spiritual component, we can ultimately be controlled. Now, the technology could break down as society breaks down, but there seems to be a race against time. Will it break down allowing a new civilization, before the globalists take total control, or will the globalists take control first, to impose centuries of slavery on the masses.

The "globalists" or simply the CEOs or capitalists cannot run technology. You need engineers to run technology. Without engineers, technology collapses. And you cannot force someone to be an effective engineer. Engineering slavery won't work. If the engineer isn't motivated, he won't do anything. Upper management cannot force engineers to produce because upper management has no understanding of engineering and never really knows what engineers are doing. So what I am saying is that there is no race against time, that technology will break down, guaranteed.

Engineers get pad a truck load of money and live lives of luxury even today. I think that would be more than enough motivation for them to serve the purposes of the globalists. And if things were really bad, it would be worth it to the CEOs to pay millions to an engineer who can do the job. After all, they have hundreds of billions to throw around. Paying a gifted engineer $10 million would be small to them and huge to the engineer. It's no different than Hollywood, who will gladly pay a director $10 million because they know his movie will make them $1 billion.

"When progress becomes god, man dies a slave."

Terrence you're correct. As the former Sun Microsystems CEO Bill Joy said "the future doesn't need us."

there are robots to do the work, and the people there are will be under mind control, and eventually genetically modified. (unless such a future is averted)
only some research & development is needed which robots can't do yet, but that's always been done "in house", because otherwise people would be aware that the military's technology (meaning the globalists, but they use the US military industrial complex as a base..) is 10-50 years ahead of what we're presented as reality

It didn't take engineers much financial incentive to produce the atomic bomb. After the project got going, they just became absorbed with the challenge of solving a problem. And in the black military world, engineers routinely build hideous weapons of destruction, knowing the horrible results that will be produced. Getting people to build their own prisons and their own weapons of destruction is probably one of the least problems facing the elite.
