I have to get the screen replaced. The thing is, I backed up the contents of my iPhone in iTunes. My question is, does anyone know if it is possible for me to access my iPhone contacts in iTunes?

Don't think so unless you have another iPhone device you can use to download and read them. But just to make sure, visit an Apple retailer in your area and ask one of the chaps behind the genius bar.
