How Do I Resize Pics Without Losing Resolution? I don't have Photoshop and my Paint program basically sucks. Any other ideas?

What you are trying to do necessitates interpolating the image. With Photoshop this is quite easy. I don't know it is possible with Irfan Viewer, I've never used it to do so.

When I was adapting photos on a regular basis, the only way I could do it was to use the software that came with my printer. Perhaps you should buy a cheap printer.

Try different programs out. Some work far better than others. I have some info about it on my website. Though I think the company went out of business. If you want a copy of the software, send me a PM. (not sure of compatibility with more modern Windows version)

etc.

There are numerous software avail for re-sizing your photos. The quality of your output is highly dependent on the original image.

Just use the Paint program in your Windows accessories. It resizes images.

Are you trying to resize an image for your avatar or to post? You can post large images here and they will automatically be resized.

Images for avatars are automatically resized.

If you want to post the image here, or a link to it, I can try to resize it for you.
