Night Owls are not Losers

Some settled men deride those guys who have no GF's/wives and who prefer to be " living" in bars for being incompetent losers and for allegedly lacking " social skills" and/or "confidence". They laugh at them while constantly posting their family pictures with their wives and kids. Why do they have to be so smug about it?

I say, many GF-less guys are competent, confident and do have social skills. And they can get a steady GF any time, but they just don't want to have them ( i.e. aka future wives).

They themselves choose not to have GF's!

These guys don't want the commitments, they don't want girls flaking out on them and standing them up, they don't want the sulking, the moods, the drama, the quarrels, the jealousy and being limited to just one person. They don't want to depend on another person's schedule. They don't want monitoring and having to give reports- "Are you home yet? Where are you? " They don't want having to send steady remittances ( sooner or later).
Plus, they can get sick and tired of that person, but the structure that had built with that person still stands and it is now a prison of sorts.
Steady relationships are basically marriages - registered or not- and are only good if you want to have kids. And it is a great thing being a Dad; no one will contradict you on that. But if you don't want to be a Dad, then you really don't need a "relationship". And " she" does not need someone who does not plan on making her a mother. Duh! You are wasting her time, too.

So, some guys want freedom, and they want availability. Thus, they choose the bars. Duh!

Yes, there is no " love" in those bars. But not everyone is looking for " love". If you want female companionship, it is always there. You can always find someone who is available to keep you company of any stretch of time. No dramas, no commitments, no monitoring. No BS. Go home any time you want, do anything you want.

Not everyone wants family, not everyone wants old-fashioned love.

Some people are happy with alternative lifestyles.

Let them be!

If you are referring to the Philippine bar scene, or what's left of it after the Chinese and the Koreans barfine everybody with a pu**y and a pulse by 7 PM, the main advantage is that it's cheap.

Going around strip clubs looking for transient passion in any other place in the world, besides perhaps similar SEA countries, could be financially a lot more expensive and not sustainable in the long run.
