I read somewhere that an Asian wife is the new trophy wife.

I had a buddy who went to the same college I went to. We met just after graduation though, living in that town. He told me when he was in college as a freshman, he dated a black girl. The guys would sing 'Brown Sugar' when he came back to the dorm. He was thinking, "My black girlfriend is better looking than your white girlfriend."

I am married and settled now. But when I was single, I didn't care if a girl was white or Asian. Honestly, most women from African or Indigeneous South American peoples aren't going to attract me. Most whites or Asians won't. But there are beautiful women in Asia, just as their are beautiful whites. And I didn't care how Caucasian a woman was... as far as looks were concerned... as long as her face and body were beautiful.

I'm guessing in South Korea when I was there, among thin, young early 20's, I'd say about as many women were pretty enough to get my attention, 8+ on my scale of personal perception. There were some 9+s on in South Korea, but it seemed like more 8's, and fewer uniquely beautiful faces. I'd guess maybe 5% of girls might have gotten my interest for looks. In Indonesia, maybe it was 3% or so that were that good-looking. But I don't care about that because I married a stunner anyway. She's pushing 50 and has retained good looks throughout her 40's and hasn't turned into a middle aged stout tree trunk like many women, even Asian women, do at that age.

I used to think Asian women kept their looks better. I don't know. I went to my wife's high school reunion several years back. One woman, when she met me, had been talking to my wife. She said in Indonesian, "I used to be good-looking." That's the first time I'd met this woman. What a weird and funny comment. Maybe 80 people showed up, mostly women. I think there was one woman there who was good-looking besides my wife.

But Asian women still might hold up for facial beauty, if they had it in their youth, later than white women without plastic surgery and treatments.
