Do you believe black American women behave, on average, exactly the same as white American women or Asian American women? In other words, there are absolutely no differences in common behavior patterns between these groups?

What is American "culture" and behavior? It's the most unique social construct on the planet--a hodgepodge of Native American, Western European, African and now Eastern European/Jewish and Asian cultures. I think that a black woman and white woman, especially born and raised in the same area whose families have been here for generations have more in common "culturally" than say, a 2nd generation Asian American. You go down the line to a 4th or 5th gen Asian-American; those cultural difference become less. A black female lawyer who lives in a swanky high-rise on the North shore of Chicago has more in common culturally with another white American female who lives in her building than she does with a young, under-educated, black woman from South Central, LA. American cultural differences are not so much based on race; rather socio-economic lines.

OK, now we're getting into an area which can be measured and quantified. What would you estimate the percentage of black females in the US who are white collar professionals vs. white females or Asian females? Or more importantly, what percentage of black females there live in hard-core ghettos or low-income areas vs. white females or Asian females? If you measure this and analyze the results, you will find black women are highly over-represented vs. white or Asian women.

The reason why this is relevant is that black US ghettos tend to have different value systems than other areas. I'm pretty sure that if I grew up in one of these environments, I would have been taught by my peers and older role models that honest wage work is for fagot ass suckers, crime, drug dealing, and other anti-social behaviors and attitudes are what's cool, gang-banging is what real men do, and a stint in the pen is a man's coming of age initiation. Broader society is the enemy to be exploited in any way possible. And women are bitches and hos to be knocked-up and abandoned as teens too. No wonder they're so pissed! Even black college students in unis such as Howard confer much more status and respect to their peers with ghetto backgrounds who look and act the part than those from the middle class families.

The really messed-up thing is that black ghetto styles are being glorified and emulated by a significant percentage of young people in the broader US society. The movement has even gone international to a degree. Its seductive and destructive.

Do you deny any of what I've written above? Great that you and your peers with this Slavic fetish may not be part of the cancer I write about. But how can you pretend it doesn't exist. And BTW, plenty of Russians hate you guys. Have an honest white friend do a survey in some medium sized industrial Russian city to see what I mean.

I have no interest in going back and forth with some man about the "black female experience." If any of you feel you know more about black females than I, that is your delusion and who am I to disturb that? My impetus for posting here was to address the black, handkerchief-head men on this site, who, bolstered by the seedy, bitter undercurrent of racism here, feel safe in degrading all black women. Absolutely pathetic and I doubt any of them would have the balls to make the same statements around other black people. Date/marry whomever you want, feel free to find black women unattractive as sexual or life partners, but don't disparage all black women. That is the height of self-hatred.

As far as "Slavic fetish". I think not. I don't have the same mentality as you on this site. I have dated men of all ethnicities. I happened to marry a Russian.

Also, people are not just different cause of culture. Race is a factor too. Our genes play a role too. Every scientist knows that. Only politically correct liberals deny basic science and genetics. We are not born blank slates. Not all races are the same. It's just that it's taboo to point out any racial differences, because anyone who does is called a racist. I am not sure what the "typical" American black woman looks like since, because of admixture, African-American women can vary in looks more (IMO) than anyone else. Thank you for the welcome. I assume this is your site. You are all certainly titled to your opinion. I simply offered mine and my experiences as counter to the beliefs many of you may have about black American women. I had a professor who once said, "If a human can do something, than it is not 'unnatural'." If one black woman is not representative of what many of you feel is the black woman's experience, than according to logic, you cannot make the claim: "all black women are___"

1. No I was offered a moderator position but declined it so you're in luck.

2. U assume too much. I've been good to the Asian gals and they've been good to me. But anyone who thinks u can just lord over these girls is way-off. For example, it take a great amount of local cultural and people skills to avoid being ultimately dominated by a large percentage of Chinese women if u get into LT relationships with them.

5. Actually, in person, I am very much a gentleman. That's why I left the US at a very early age - to find women who actually appreciate nice guys. I am reading this thread..amused and horrified at the same time! I am a Black American woman married 5 years to a Ukranian man. I've been to Ukraine about 4 times and have a fantastic time with his friends and family while I am there. i also speak Russian enough to have a conversation and read it fluently. I just have to state I didn't seek my husband nor did he seek me based on some preconceived notions about race or ethnicity. We just happened to fall in love (and he is gorgeous and smart, to boot). Although I am married to him, I would NEVER bash an entire group of men by stating , "All Black/White American, Hispanic, Asian men are______" What a sad and pigeonholed life to generalize people--it's also intellectually lazy. For the record, not all Black American women are loud, fat and uneducated and how sad to see Black men on here degrading women that look the same as the ones who gave birth to them. Gentlemen, perhaps it's not the ladies you speak so contemptuously about that are the problem.....

I assure you, I never "play dumb". Tell me, what is a "typical black person?" Black people run the gamut of nearly white skin to rich, chocolate colored skin. Black people have different textues of hair. Are you a "typical" black man? Not all black people have wide noses. Is there a typical white, Asian or Hispanic look? This "typical" sounds more like a contrived device of racists and self-hating blacks. Your username sounds like one of someone who is under 25 years-old. If you are, you stil have a lot to learn in life. Stop letting other races dictate your identity.
