Isn't it hard to tell whether a person is of a certain race?

Im having a hard time figuring out who people are and what their heritage is these days. Some it's easy for them but for me not so much....question does this girl look black or indian right here? They say she's a light skinned black woman, but I think they have an error here. She clearly looks indian, from India. Not to be confused with native Americans.

I think she is Indian. I had an interview with a dark skinned cute Indian girl the other day. Her accent gave her away. Today in the USA there is so much mixing, that it is almost impossible to tell. My last girlfriend was Asian and she couldn't tell what country other Asians were from, so for white foreigner it is almost impossible. Good luck!

No it doesn't matter but All I was saying she looks indian and the article all I was saying we're identifying her as a black woman...its very odd to see a black girl look like that. That's why I was confused. They say blacks come in all shades so maybe it is true.

If you are worried about mixed/bi-racial with at least some Black/African blood, then you are encouraging White supremacy by proxy by saying that mixed-race people are the only good looking Black people. That's a smack to the face of your ancestors; some of them were beautiful too, guy.

But we are talking about homogenous races here. Mixed races are of course harder to tell.

About race, it is not always so easy if you see only a picture (in this case even this picture shows only the upper part).

For example Mongolians, Japanese and Koreans are very similar. Also Filipinos and Indonesians are often similar. Or Thai people and Lao people.
It is not so easy to know who is Italian and who is from France if you cannot speak with them, but see only their pictures on the internet. etc. etc.

How good are you at telling what country an Asian is from? I think I can spot Russians but that is about it.

I can distinguish between Chinese, Japanese and Korean most of the time just on looks alone. Most Asians can I think. But not as well between Filipino, Thai and Indonesian. If I hear them speak though, then I can better tell.
