A man can have a variety of reasons why he abandons his children. It may not even be his fault; a crazy ex-wife who won't allow visitation rights.

A man may have lost his job and cannot provide adequately for his kids. He may feel discouraged and not a good provider for his family.

A woman expects a man to be a strong provider, no excuses. She wants him to work to death for HER needs especially.
