It's an insane story, and I'm glad that there is finally some real push back vs. the toxic feminism in our world today - a small victory at least.

What's the conspiracy in video games? Isn't it just to keep young people distracted, pacified and addicted to something useless so they will stay out of the way of the ruling elite?

It's far more ridiculous and insane. Remember the hit piece by Jezebel on you Winston? It involves those types of people, across several websites...

It involves:
Actor Adam Baldwin (Coined the hashtag GamerGate)
Death Threats, causing a noted Feminist Anita Sarkeesian to leave her home, and talk all about it on Twitter
Journalists having sex with the subjects of their stories.
Those subjects also rigging a competition so only certain people they like win the award.
Mass Censorship and entire deletion of hundreds of threads on 4Chan (!) and Reddit
Doxxing (Releasing of Private Information on people to the public)
Men in the industry having been accused of rape, then further destroyed by these journalists.

GamerGate has been raiging on Twitter for 4 weeks now. it's still going on. People are mad as hell.
