.... I've had instances where I've walked into a restaurant in Taiwan alone, and the waitress looks at me oddly and asks me "Why are you all alone? Where's your companions?" Then when I proceed to tell her the above, she looks at me as though I were a Martian.
It was a waitress (female) and not a waiter (male) asking you this. I wonder what a local waiter in Taiwan would reply to you if you show up with your arguments.

Of course for a female it is in such countries like Taiwan (and South Korea too) much easier to find male and female friends than for a man, Chinese or not makes no difference I guess.

Taiwan is not a bad place otherwise for me, but I do not remember any friendly women there during my short visits.
I never made it up to any friends from Taiwan either.

Japan is a little bit better I would say, but not so much. This is because the country is wider, people are polite and helpful, and it is not the same if you are on an island with 23 million people or 125 million people.
They would not reply with much. They would either deny it and say "Taiwanese are friendly and good. You just haven't met the right people yet." or they would say "I've never met anyone like you describe." or would say nothing but look shocked that anyone would say such taboo things.

Yeah Taiwan like America is friendlier to women and girls than men.

Not a bad place? Sure it may be safe and sterile, but it's also lifeless, dead, dull, soulless, and a place full of zombies. No one is really alive or can hold a good conversation. It's just not them. If you are alive or lively you will feel out of place. Very awkward.

People say that Japan is less friendly than Taiwan, but I have a hard time believing that. Japanese are more brave I think, their culture promotes courage and bravery. Taiwan does not.

Why is it impossible to make friends or connect with people in Taiwan? Everyone here is cold and distant and uncaring. Everyone you meet feels like an acquaintance, not a real friend. And no one has fun or gets wild too like in other parts of Asia. It's the most lonely and isolating country in Asia. The women are not approachable at all either and not open to talking to strangers and not interested in meeting men. Very sad and unnatural and inhuman. The problem is not me because I don't have this problem in most Asian countries, only Taiwan.

The proof of this is that anytime there is a misunderstanding with Taiwanese people, they ghost you and ignore you. Typical NPC. A real friend would not do that. No one seems human in Taiwan except the elderly folks maybe. They don't seem human. I feel insulted and embarrassed and ashamed to say I'm Taiwanese since I don't vibe with any of this at all. Maybe Rock is an ET too and that's why he vibes with ETs like Taiwanese. lol

Have any of you noticed that the basic Taiwanese personality is very square, rigid, boring, narrow, and fixated on routines? They're kinda weird and inhuman, way too reserved and repressed, way too cold and uptight and rigid, and very soulless and lifeless. Like total zombies and NPCs. Look into the typical Taiwanese eyes and you will see this, even on posters and ads. It's kinda creepy and awkward and off-putting.

They are also super boring, probably the most boring people in the world. No one in Taiwan is eccentric or distinctive or unique or freespirited or freethinking or interesting. No one is wild or vivacious or gregarious or fun loving or happy-go-lucky. Everyone is super conformist and square and robotic and dull. No one even has a real personality. It's very sickening and sad and creepy. But you aren't allowed to talk about it. Because Taiwan is politically correct and a zombie land, so being truthful and honest is a taboo and against the grain and doesn't fit the zombie hive mind of Taiwan. Lol. No joke. I'm serious.

Even if I had a girlfriend or social group in Taiwan I still wouldn't like it because the Taiwanese people and vibe and culture are very awkward, weird, creepy, and off-putting. Not human at all. It's hard to explain. But if you've been to Taiwan and you are authentic and deep and have a real soul, like me, you will know what I mean. It's just taboo to talk about it because it's against the grain to expose this truth.

Taiwan is all about politeness and conformity and political correctness. No one values truth or honesty in Taiwan. It's a total zombie land. Taiwan is also very shallow and superficial and judgmental. So anyone deep or authentic will feel ostracized and alienated and cannot be themselves and hence unfree.

Taiwan also lacks energy and soul. It has nothing to feed your soul. Sure it's safe and sterile but that's the problem. Without risk or danger or authenticity or wildness, your soul cannot grow or evolve. It just stagnates. Time just passes with no meaning and is wasted. You don't have special memories or meaningful experiences in Taiwan like you do in other exotic and cool foreign countries. This is what those who boast about Taiwan's safety don't get. Probably because they are NPCs and do not care about soul or authenticity or depth or meaning or energy. Only NPCs like Taiwan it seems, as well as superficial people that are soulless and hollow and too reserved. These are the traits of the typical Taiwan fan I've noticed.

I have a question. How do you explain these two paradoxes in Taiwan that no one dares to talk about?

First why does everyone claim that Taiwan is so warm and friendly? This begs the question: If Taiwan is "friendly" how come no one wants to be your friend? Taiwan is super cliquish like California and like high school. People don't talk to strangers unless it's business related. There is an ice wall between strangers. People are paranoid and reserved and closed off. There's no social connection. People aren't open to making new friends or meeting new people. Totally different from Europe or Russia or Latin America or SE Asia.

Everyone you meet in Taiwan is just an acquaintance. Never a real friend. The proof of this is that any time there's a misunderstanding or you say something they don't like, they ghost you or block you or ignore you. A real friend doesn't do that. Hence that proves Taiwanese aren't your real friends.

Another proof is that you don't see foreigners and local Taiwanese hanging out together. Out in public when you see a foreigner they are usually either alone, or with other foreigners, or with Asian Americans like me. But not with local mainstream Taiwanese. It's the same reason why cats and dogs don't choose to hang out together, because they are too different and don't resonate. Same with foreigners and Taiwanese.

Sometimes elderly or older folks in Taiwan can be warm and friendly. But young adults or middle age people are never open and have a cold distant vibe and act very reptilian. It's kinda creepy and makes my skin crawl. People don't seem human here. No offense to anyone. Just being honest. I've never felt comfortable being myself in Taiwan. The locals are weird, off-putting, and creepy. They seem inhuman, unnatural, and overly repressed and reserved. I am none of those things of course, otherwise I wouldn't be complaining.

The second paradox is that Taiwanese women are never interested in meeting men or making friends. Even if they are single they still have zero interest. You won't see that in most other Asian countries. Taiwanese girls/women are very unfriendly, unapproachable, super judgmental, and exude a NEGATIVE vibe. You can't relax or be comfortable or be yourself around them. When I try to approach them or chat them up it feels wrong and inappropriate and creepy and against the grain. I absolutely hate that. It's no fun at all and highly unfriendly and makes Taiwan suck totally.

So the question is: How then do Taiwanese men hook up with their Taiwanese girlfriends or wives? And why do you see couples everywhere in Taiwan? It's a reality breakdown, like the Twilight Zone. Either way it's creepy and weird and feels off and gives me bad vibes. Other Asian countries give me better vibes and aren't as creepy or antisocial or weird, and don't give me social anxiety like Taiwan does. Even China is much more friendly and social and natural.

The thing is, even if I had a girlfriend in Taiwan or a social life, I would still find the people and vibe to be weird, awkward, and off-putting. They are not my cup of tea and way too uptight and restrictive and inhibited. They are never gregarious or vivacious or freespirited or uninhibited. Not even a little. It's all too extreme. No balance at all.

So my question is: Are all these people who say Taiwan is warm and friendly lying? Or are they in a different reality? Or do they have a different definition of friendliness than me? All of these are possible. They could also be NPCs and the matrix is playing tricks on me too, by saying the opposite of what's true. I don't know. It all seems so unreal, as well as unfriendly and unnatural.

Taiwan does not feel free either. It has too many social rules and boundaries and restrictions and etiquette customs and saving face rules. And it is too politically correct too, like the USA, unlike China which has no political correctness on social issues. Just because you can vote in Taiwan doesn't make you free, as the dumb US media claims. If you can't be yourself or do what you love then you aren't free. Political systems don't matter.

What I've noticed is that only NPCs tend to like Taiwan. But those like me who are very authentic and have depth and a divine soul, don't usually don't fit into Taiwan or click with it. Most of the foreigners I see in Taiwan seem like NPCs too, and overly reserved. They aren't like the foreigners you see in the Philippines who are more fun loving and relaxed and non-paranoid.

I find it impossible to connect or click with Taiwanese people. I am not Taiwanese on the inside of course, otherwise I wouldn't be saying all these taboo things. Most of my friends are white and my soul is more European than Asian or American because I am very broad minded and deep and an old soul. Not superficial or hollow or an NPC like Taiwanese are.

I don't understand why God put me in a Yaiwanese body if I am not Taiwanese on the inside. Did God make a mistake? Or does he just like to mess with and screw with people? It often seems so.

@Yohan when you went to Taiwan did you notice all the things above too? If so then why do normies always lie about Taiwan being so warm and friendly? Is it because NPCs have no conscience about lying and only say whatever they are programmed? Seems like it.

@Winston Here are some comments on Reddit:
I always say to friends and family when recommending Taiwan, it’s like Thailand and Japan had a baby that became Taiwan. It’s just, nice, easy, clean, chill.
Taiwan is modern like Japan but affordable like Thailand. So many cultures to discover and people are very friendly and it’s safe. Happy double ten day!
The people are so much more chill when compared to Korea and Japan. I love the cuisine. The people are more laid back and not so focused on their appearance, and even if they can't speak amazing English, they don't freak out if you try to communicate with them. I like that it local Taiwanese things as well as Japanese. Lots of great Asian cuisine from other countries easily available. Very affordable fruits at the markets. I love the 7/11s there, too. I don't live there, but I spent a fair bit of time there. If I could find a decent uni job teaching English, would be open to moving there.
I’ve been to Taiwan recently and stayed on the country side for a couple of months. I must say that I really loved and enjoyed my stay for its slow paced. I have more time to think and reflect about life. Also, taiwan is very accessible. If you want to go to the city, transportation is very commendable and the trains are very effective. Everything is on time.
We just came back from a vacation in Taiwan and are truly amazed how helpful everyone was to us. Of course most recognised we are tourists and went above and beyond to help us or provide us guidance when we requested their help. Very refreshing. Very kind. Thank you to the people of Taiwan. Never change.
I'm on my first trip to Taiwan and honestly if it weren't for the weather I would 100% live here. The people are so kind, the food is delicious, and the appreciation for culture and art really won me over. Love this place, will definitely return

But @kangarunner. If you google "Why is Taiwan boring and lonely and isolated" you do get some hits where others report the same things about Taiwan as me. See below. They've also noted that everyone you meet in Taiwan feels like an acquaintance, not a real friend, because Taiwanese have no soul and are always emotionally distant and vacant, similar to Americans. Pure NPCs for sure. There's zero connection with everyone you meet. Very lonely and isolating. I've been saying that all along. Even @Yohan noticed this in TW. Keep in mind that most people on the internet may just be NPCs and there to lie and deceive you.

Some of the posters said that Thailand is far more fun while Taiwan is simply boring, but safe and sterile. The thing is, being in a country that's safe and sterile and has zero danger, is stagnant and doesn't allow you to grow. You need risk and danger and wild fun to grow as a person and soul. Without it, you become stagnant and your time there is wasted. Taiwan is the kind of place where time passes and is wasted because nothing happens. It has that kind of vibe, like the USA does. People that praise Taiwan for its safety don't realize this.

Btw my friend Jonathan gave me an interesting insight. He said that the reason I don't vibe with Asians like Taiwanese is because Asians tend to think in a straight line, they are simple, rigid, and narrow. There is no diversity or complexity in their mind. But my mind is diverse and complex so I do not relate to other Asians and I am not Asian on the inside and most of my friends are White. That's very spot on. So true. Asians do tend to think in a straight narrow line. Especially Chinese and Taiwanese for sure. That's a good way of putting it. i couldn't find the words to express that before.

Also @Lucas88 told me that he noticed that Asians lack empathy and are cold and reptilian in their base nature, so they have to have a lot of social rules to keep them in order. That's a good insight. Could be true. We also agreed that the Asian soul is kind of like a troglodyte type. They have no creativity and they just conform and do simple mundane tasks well. They may be civilized like in Japan and Korea, but their soul essence seems very much like that of a troglodyte. It's not an insult to Asians, just an honest observation.

@Winston Has @Lucas88 ever been to Asia? Has he experienced the local culture over here in Southeast Asia (Thailand, Vietnamese, Cambodian, Malaysian, Chinese)? The answer is no. A lot of authority he has on Asians. LOL. HAHAHA.

Yes @kangarunner. Lucas88 went to Japan and spent a few years there. He studied the Japanese language and can write many Japanese characters. He knows some Chinese characters too. He is very deep and a human encyclopedia and can memorize Asian characters. He made the same observations as me about Japan. He met many people in Japan and has many stories about it and said they were all NPCs too. Also he knows Asian culture and spirituality to a deep degree and knows many esoteric terms in Buddhism and Hinduism. So he knows more than you can imagine.

Keep in mind @kangarunner that a bot is not gonna realize that other bots are soulless. And an NPC isn't gonna recognize that other NPCs are soulless. Get real man. You keep forgetting that. Only NPCs like Taiwan. You won't see anyone with depth or authenticity that loves Taiwan. Also you aren't allowed to talk about isolation or loneliness or boredom. Because society blames you if you feel those things, not the environment or society.

@kangarunner here's the full text of what Lucas88 said about Asians lacking empathy and being so troglodyte like, in response to my observation that Asians have a troglodyte soul essence. It seems fairly accurate but taboo. Keep in mind that truth is often NOT politically correct. What do you think @ladislav?

Lucas88:

"Winston, I have a hypothesis about why East Asians tend to be so troglodytic.

GWAS (genome-wide association studies) can predict the development of certain personality traits in an individual through the analysis of gene variants. Predictable personality traits include empathy, autism, and neuroticism.

Based on my interactions with East Asians during my time in Japan, I would assume that East Asians as a group are genetically predisposed to low empathy and high autism, while Europeans would likely be genetically predisposed to intermediate to high empathy and intermediate autism. Please note that "autism" here refers to autism-like traits or traits shifted towards the autistic phenotype, not necessarily clinical autism.

Genetic predisposition to low empathy, high autism might explain why East Asians tend to be inhibited, unsociable and unfriendly, and why East Asian women can be such blatant gold-diggers and completely self-serving while viewing their husbands as nothing more than utilities.

This might also be the reason why East Asian societies require strict rules and conformity to function: East Asians have low empathy and therefore don't respond to higher spiritual ideals of good-will or compassion, so they need rule-based deontological ethical systems to tell them how to behave. For this same reason East Asian societies run best when they are ruled by an authoritarian "Gook dictator". Lol! 😂

East Asians' low empathy is also why Buddhism—an Indian religion—was so beneficial to East Asian societies since it taught compassion to a population largely lacking concern for others and especially for outgroups.

Europeans, on the other hand, tend to be more empathic than Asians and less autistic, so they are more sociable, friendly, open-minded, curious about the outside world, compassionate, and charitable. When you imagine "bleeding-heart liberals", you normally think of White people, right?"
