A very hard cold truth is that "sexuality" and "morality" don't really go well with eachother. If someone wants to be shallow and only chase 9s that's his right. If an american women wants to be shallow, that's her right. We have no obligation to pursue a woman we are not attracted to or don't want. If you really believe you are hurting a women's feeling by writing her off why not be her friend, if she has a good personality. But no we as people have no moral obligation to pursue someone just because they want us to. Yes alot of people might get hurt in this "shallow" process but remember this is still just nature's way of keeping the species alive and we are trying to take advantage of it the best we can for our own reasons, and nature really isn't a very moral process at all.

as a man who is 48 the field of women who are acceptable is a bit wider for me. But even I prefer women I find to be more attractive than less attractive. It is in the nature of men to do so in the majority.

For me personality plays a BIG part. I have to be able to hold a decent conversation with a woman if I am going to spend time with her. And she has to have a good heart. A lot of women I have met failed "interesting to talk to" because they simply have nothing to talk about and are not interested in learning about anything to have topics of conversation. These women I do not stay around with for long.

Older women have more life experiences and are usually more interesting to talk to. When I say older I mean 30-35.

As women get younger they seem to have less to talk about and they seem to talk about the most trivial of things. I can NOT talk about hamsters or "hello kitty" merchandise.

I do not care if the woman is a 15.5. I am not going to date a woman who thinks "hello kitty" is the epitome of cool. I guess that makes me less superficial than most, eh?

The last woman I dated was, in my book, a 6. I have high standards now. She did have a very pretty face but she refused to get much exercise and it was starting to show. But she was very articulate and quite intelligent and she knew how to be a friend.

As usual she found me in a bar. I was sitting alone eating as usual and she came over to me to start talking "because there is something different about you that I have not seen before in a man". I get that a lot. I do not know if that is supposed to be a pick up line for women or what but I often get "there is something different about you so I wanted to talk to you".

One of the really strange things that has happened to me is I seem to have found a way to look a woman in the eyes on first meeting and know she has a "good heart". There is something in the eyes. I have had this happen twice in the last year. First time eye contact and I just KNEW this woman had a "good heart". Neither of them worked out for other reasons but they were really, really nice women.

I have no idea where this has come from because I never experienced it before in my life.

All this talk about perfect symmetry and perfect skin tone and perfect breasts is nothing but westernised Darwinian codswallop. Odbo said a good point about people here wanting to run a "eugenics program." It seems people here are searching for the perfect specimen. Just my opinion…but this puts you on the same level as feminized western women, except that they have more choke in western society, and you have more choice in others.

Anyway, just remember that this is all just my opinion. I could be wrong, or misinformed. Or maybe we simply just disagree. I will go for hot women myself, but I will not pass up a traditional plain looking women if her ATTITUDE is better.

Funny thing is, I don't necessarily like women who are 9's. Some of them I like, but a lot of them have a kind of unnatural, superficial look about them. Give me a good 5 or 6 any day who loves
me to bits, wouldn't leave or betray me, and she is literally worth a million 9's to me.

I agree Banano. The man in you really comes out with someone who has the total package; a sexy face with a sexy body. Not overly porn style type attractive. Just a natural sex appeal with a nice figure or even chubby. However, with me, I can easily be sexually aroused by a 6 who has a sexy body with a plain face. I actually like these kind more. A girl with a plain face, maybe with glasses, long hair and nice eyes but she's curvy with a nice athletic shape with a round tight athletic butt with nice feet I would want more. I fancy many things that automatically eliminates Asian women in one-way or another. I like tall women, I'm 6'1 with tennis shoes on, 6' 3/4.

When some things happen that I would call a minor deal breaker things change. If your a single mother, the looks demand goes up and why not? Most men are not going to date a single mother anyway and also the age demand goes up, under 30 if possible.

Actually its not, there is scientific proof. I am not looking for perfect because nobody is. Lots of people like to give credit to people they don't know personally. I don't take those things seriously and there's no such thing as a "Traditional Plain Looking Woman" Some women put on little makeup and look great, other women know how to correctly apply makeup so you don't notice at all. There plenty of before and after pictures of what happens when you put makeup on a woman how you can take her from plain looking to exotic.

As I said, its only fat people that complain about the world being built around people that are in-shape to average size. Only so-so to ugly people complain about eugenics programs designed to eliminate less than perfect people, no such thing exist other than your own head.

I hate narcissistic dudes trying to tell some other man how to be a man or to grab his balls has if they have everything figured out.Why not just marry someone on your level and keep it moving and don't judge other men for there choices.
For example how can a dude who is bald ,fat and works at home depot talk about dating or marrying 10's.

I don't suggest that one would be happy dating a woman who makes no effort to take care of herself. All I'm trying to suggest is that many people on this forum who are looking for someone who looks perfect, could be quite happy with someone who looks less than perfect (I don't mean ugly), but has a better attitude (ie. not that of a typical western woman).

The reason I suggest this is because people complain about western women having this attitude, when they themselves have the same attitude.

I can not stand western women picking and judging, and thinking they are entitled to the best looking guy, when they themselves don't bother to exercise. What would you think of an overweight woman who doesn't take care of herself, who was only searching for someone with a body like Arnold Swarzenegger?

If I can't stand women who are like this, then it's fair for me to have an issue with men when they are like this as well. (I probably shouldn't have said it in such a confrontational manner though.
