Hefner is so vain this seems like a publicity stunt to get his name back in the news. Playboy lost it relevance a long time ago. It's almost farcial -- a magazine filled with Aryan looking blonds with fake boobs pushing an ultra-liberal social agenda. Quite a disconnect there, or maybe hypocritical is the better word. Reminds me of John Mellencamp, who married a teenage white supermodel while in his 40s but who advocates forced mixed marriages for everyone else in order to solve the U.S.'s race problems.

Old Hef had a serious stroke many years ago. He apparently has to fill himself with Viagra and watch homosexual porn to "produce." Henry Makow wrote about this a few years ago. The word "pitiful" comes to mind:

Asia Outback has a good point. Too many people rush in, desperate and searching, needing a girlfriend within hours of stepping off the plane. Great points. He's the master pimp. But even if we ignore that and assume he's just paying each one $8,000 per month (I'm really surprised its so low), SE Asia is a completely different experience. SE Asia is for the most part a lot of easy cheap easy sex with generally unattractive or at best cute girls with sexually underdeveloped bodies.

As far as I know, the closest you can come to what he's doing is by visiting a higher-end Rio/Sao Paulo terma or German FK club. 8 years ago, you could hang out for several hours in a terma, dance and make-out with some of the girls, and take one for an hour in a cabina for a total of US$40-60 with US$40 for each additional girl/hour. I meant that it wasn't possible to get girls like that at 1/1000th the price that Hefner is paying or whatever is being implied. I know that you can buy off some of the centerfold girls in Taiwan (as well as Thailand) but at 30,000 NT a pop which i'm sure which comes along with other expectations it adds up to a number that's way more than what Hefner was paying for.
