I don't know how much more of this I can take!
I'm getting close to reaching my boiling point with "western" society and the anglosphere. It's hard to pinpoint one exact reason why, it's really combination of a whole bunch of things that piss me off so much I'm getting close to losing my mind! For starters I work in retail as a salesperson. That's pretty much the only reason I am still here in Canada, because I sell mostly luxury goods and I'm paid on commission, so their is no limit to how much money I can make. although I do make good money, the interaction with customers, mostly men is enough to drive you crazy! I would love for other HA members to see some of the idiot men I have to talk to. You would be rolling on the floor laughing. They are pretty much all whipped little boys, who are terrified to do anything without "the bosses" approval. It is simply the most pathetic behaviour, and it's the same from almost all of them. Their are a few exceptions, but for the most part, western men are wimps and losers who signed a contract with a western woman who bosses them around like they were an employee and she really was the boss. They can't make the simplest decision without getting their wives approval, who usually knows nothing about the product they are buying. Whenever I give them the sales pitch and try to close them then and there, they almost always say, oh sorry can't do anything without talking to the boss, you know how it is! To which i respond, sorry, no i don't know how it is, but it must suck! I only date foreign women and i don't sign contracts, besides, no woman will lever have access to or tell me what I can and can't do with my own money. They always give me a big stupid and uncomfortable smile and say "got a card?"
So that's my rant about work, but then once I go home, I have to put up with idiot on public transit, all glued to their smart phones, or not moving to the back of the bus. Then at home, I get 0 messages from plenty of fish, and when I do sometimes get 1, it's from some nasty white cougar who smokes, drinks, has tattoos, is over weight, divorced, and likes watching pro-sports, goes to jenny craig, and watches reality tv shows. Then I get about 30 messages a day from cute filipinas on DIA, who send me kisses, want to be fb friends, want to know when I am going there, tell me what color panties they are wearing etc...
In order to meet girls i like here i have to go to and volunteer time at an ESL school to meet japanese girls, which i have had success at as I described in another post. But the effort and time that goes into that is too much as far as I am concerned. it would be a slam dunk in the philippines.
So I have had it with Canada, I am only still here to make money. Once I have built up a big bank account, I am outta here!
My goal is to take a 1 month holiday in Cebu this spring and if it's as goo as it sounds, I will come back here, tie up some loose ends and move to cebu. I paid off my mortgage about a year ago, so i can save a lot of $$$ every month. I plan to rent out my furnished apartment here and live off of that retired in the philippines. i figure i can get about $1000 a month after maintenance fees on my condo and live off of that. so $12000 a year in the philippines is a lot there. I live very frugally even here and plan to do the same there. I don't smoke, drink do drugs, watch tv, i've almost given up on movies, and all I really want to do is live somewhere hot and tropical, sleep in every day, meet lots of cute girls easily and take it easy!
does anyone else feel this way?

people here are real fuckin' stupid. very idiotic particularly the women. They just don't know how to think. they are all monkeys, monkey see monkey do. Remember that is a wise saying.
if a woman tells her male boyfriend, male friend, or brother that you are looking at her. the dumb ass male will turn around and look at you all crazy because he was dumb enough to believe her. when you could have just glanced or looked in her direction.
Most cases i or any other male is only minding their own business. smiling to ourselves or even talking to ourselves. the dumb ass woman will think you are talking or smiling at them. and then tell the male she is hanging out with that " this guy is talking to me." ugh!!!
such dumb asss stupidity. its beyond me.
as for foreign women
it is hard here in the states to get numbers here. BUT...
I have personally been able to get LOTS AND LOTS OF FACEBOOK REQUESTS. From japanese women i talk to here in L.A. i either out right ask them to be friends on facebook or they friend request me from their phone right there infront of me.
Usually when i look at japanese women sexually in like starbucks they come over and sit right next to me and look at me in the eyes. hahaahhahahaaa...then i start talking to them. so its pretty cool so far.
oh man i talked to this gorgeous russian asian lady from russia. she was a beaut. she was very amused and giggled and blushed when i was talking to her. at first she ignored me. because that is how they are "supposed to treat men in america" so it was rude of her at first. then a few minutes later i talked to her again. she opened up all the way this time ( strange how a woman's mind works). then she started blushing and giggling and enjoying my flirtation with her. this goes to show that foreign women are NOT being themselves when they act american. they really really do want to flirt with you and show interest. but if the do then the women around them will ostracize them for it.
all in all its way better in other countries. the women are so so different there. and so so better in THEIR country. and super easy to date and meet. its awesome.
save up as much money as you can and get the hell out of this sick sick stupid people country.

First, congrats on paying off your mortgage! Not many people can have such bragging rights today. The average home owner today doesn't even keep his/her home for 10 years, and tend to refi so they can use their home equity like an ATM machine. Will N. If you live in a condo HOA, the HOA fees will likely pay for most exterior maintenance, so you don't have to allocate as big of a maintenance reserve. If you're planning for your exit and want to turn your property income a rental, I highly recommend getting a good property manager. I've been a landlord for a decade and always had property managers looking after things. If a tenant calls about a backed up toilet, it's my manager who takes the call and not me. ;p Ask around and see who else use a property manager and is happy with the service. I'm not familiar with all the RE laws and insurance options in Canada, but here in the US you'd need to buy a renter's insurance and put your property manager on it as a covered person. For condos it only costs a couple hundred bucks a year for $300k/600k policy.
Second, if you're going to save some $$ before departing, you might want to consider doing a little traveling before settling down in one city (Cebu?). The world is a big place, and having exited the rat race, now is your opportunity to go see a lot of it. My ex-coworker is currently traveling across Central and South America, having a blast. I've meet many backpackers at airports in Asia, you can Google backpacking resources on the web about backpacking through Malaysia/Thailand/Vietnam/etc.

Excellent post and I agree with everything. On a side note, about the property manager, from what I know when I worked in real estate is that they take a percentage of the rental income so my mentor who owned about 60 units managed his own properties. I will admit, he had the "thick skin" to deal with difficult people.momopi wrote:First, congrats on paying off your mortgage! Not many people can have such bragging rights today. Great post Will! I wish you luck!
I feel very similar, although we don't have decent public transportation here in the States, people only drive everywhere, which makes it even more disconnected. And yes - Americans are always on their cell phones, it drives me NUTZ! WTF are they doing there? Is it really important? I don't even own a smartphone, never did and don't care if I ever do. I do not own a TV for about 8 years now! Best decision I ever made! Internet gives all information needed to know what's going on around the globe.
Good advise to travel, you could find something better than PI, you may like Brazil or Argentina or Slovakia. Europe has gorgeous women, great food and tons of culture. A bit more expensive though, but living in Eastern Europe is still more affordable. If you go to ex-USSR countries, you will live a very decent life, say in Moldova for $1,000 per month. Many people make $200 per month and live off that. My friend recently went to Moldova's capital Kishinev and rented best ever luxury apartment in downtown area for $1,200 for just 1 month. That apartment had marble floors, Jacuzzi, sauna, swimming pool etc. He told me he picked up a super model-type girl at the club and that girl would literally "hold his dick" so all other girls would see he belongs to her only! LOL. Amazing! Needless to say my friend had a blast for one month, that girl was all over him like crazy.
Lots of options. Once you are financially stable there is a life to discover! I will be glad to read your feedback once you do go abroad.

Property managers usually cost $50-$100/month, plus couple hundred bucks for finding a new tenant for you and sign the lease. Good experienced property managers can sniff out bad renters like a bloodhound, but they will NOT help you maximize your rental income. Good managers would usually charge slightly under market rate to gain a good selection of tenant applicants, so they can pick and choose the ones they like with better credit scores.
The kind of property managers who'd try to charge the highest rent possible often end up taking risky tenants.

True, but people have no choice because the infrastructure in the United States was built up around the automobile.have2fly wrote: I feel very similar, although we don't have decent public transportation here in the States, people only drive everywhere, which makes it even more disconnected. .
The thing is, it was not always this way, on the East and West Coast there use to be highly efficient trolley/bus systems; but the automobile manufacturers (and supporting companies) came in and used their power and influence to bust up and dismantle the public transportation systems so now everyone has no choice but rely on car. We have been HAD!
There is a documentary all about it, it's called: Taken for a Ride
"How American Public Mass Transit was undermined and destroyed."

Yeah I remember being at the boiling point.
I've since bailed to Asia and am back in the states right now on business for a week. Everything I see here reminds me of why I left. Everyone is such a mindless corporate slave, and slave to women. It's pathetic. And what is with these nasty beastie women; fat, hairy, grumpy face, man voice, yikes. Fake conversations, crap food, everyone stressed out about nothing, America yeah!
Goal is to wrap up biz and get back to Asia ASAP!
