Another America Rant
I've realized that living in America life is just gonna be boring period. If you've read my other post about why people feel so empty in America you'll get where I'm coming from. I read a lot of comments from people. I read a lot of Reddit posts, even though they're predominately from white, millenial libtards. I want to see what people are complaining about in this society.
If you read these gripes enough you'll notice the same gripes and complaints over and over and over. Typically, the number one complaint it seems is that guys cannot get a girlfriend to save their life. And if, after dozens or even hundreds of approaches to women, they get a sub-par girlfriend it doesn't usually work out for very long. Usually, the girl will end up cheating or breaking up with him over something and he is back to where he started. And for every guy, and probably many women in the country as well, so many talk about how empty and meaningless their life is. They no longer get any joy from their usual hobbies. They don't find anything meaningful in their work. They rarely feel happy even on the best of days. Not only that but they hate most aspects of their life. They hate commuting to work. They hate their job. They hate their boss. They hate their social life of fake friends and family, if they even have that. They hate their own thoughts that torture them constantly. They hate being single OR being stuck in the terrible relationship that they're in etc..
In most of those respects, I don't feel much different. After the drudgery that is work free time isn't much better. I've tried going for tons of different hobbies, hoping that something will stick. But it all feels pointless, boring and sometimes even torture. Living in Hawaii, there's tons outdoor things to do. I've done most of it. Gone on hikes- sucked. Gone motorcycle riding around the island-usually sucks. Tried getting into cooking-too much time for little reward. The beach? -Boring. Hanging out with friends-boring. Politics-I enjoy that, but it usually feels more like a war than actual fun. Tried different sports like paintball, track, basketball-boring. I tried a lot of stuff and getting could much out of any of it.
I think people in America feel so empty and meaningless that the only way they can get pleasure is by doing dopamine stimulating activities. Drugs, alcohol, sex, video games, coffee, energy drinks etc.. Anything that stimulates the pleasure part of the brain, Americans are addicted to. I think many people have tried the hobbies, have tried socializing, have tried to find a passion, but it's all just bleh. So instead they just stimulate stimulate stimulate. Drugs drugs drugs, food food food, sex sex sex.
I find that when I am in foreign countries. The things I find mundane in America are more fun in foreign countries. Going on a hike in Asia?-More fun. Socializing in a cafe?-More fun. Going eye shopping at the mall? -More fun. Trying different foods at little outdoor kiosks? -More fun. Just relaxing at home-more fun. Even doing chores like cleaning or washing dishes-not that bad.
In America the things of normal life become boring as hell. So people are always looking for the next way to stimulate their brains with pleasure. I think this is why the video game industry is so huge. It's constant stimulation. Many of these guys they find pleasure in nothing else, used to be me till I quit.
It's truly amazing how miserable I am everyday in this country. Every day is a battle. Every day is a struggle. The weekends are the WORST. I don't like work most of the time either. I usually hate going to work every day. But the weekends are brutal in a different way. I just rot on the weekends. It's like all that negativity, emptiness and pointlessness of this society gets multiplied times a hundred. It's getting to point now where I think I'm going to have to stay constantly busy on the weekend to distract my mind from the misery. I think I'm going to take up cooking as a hobby to pass the time. And I don't even want to do that, but I'm starting to realize I'm going to have to use strategy to get through these days. I know full well that this is not myself. All of these problems get alleviated when I go to a foreign country. It's living in this shithole of a society that causes this.
Looking around at other people's posts in this forum made me realize people are using the same types of descriptive vocabulary to explain their misery in the U.S. "Soul crushing" atmosphere seems to be one of them. "Mindless consumerism" is another. "Fake" is another. "Artificial" is another. Winston described, in one of his earlier posts, that America feels like it's attacking your soul demonically, constantly telling you that you're not good enough, you have to work more, you have to become a machine to to do well in this country. In my case, I certainly feel the same way.
It's interesting how going abroad lets you know that the problem is not you but the society you live in. At the moment I'm down in the dumps, but I know it's not me. It's the hellish POS society we live. This soul crushing country that we live in is casting it. I could go to any number of countries and have all the psychological misery alleviated.
Comparing the way you feel, from a spiritual/psychological/emotional perspective, while traveling back and forth from America to foreign countries is like jumping from a hot tub to a cold swimming pool. In the hot tub you get used feeling so good in that temperature,(living abroad), but then when you come back to America(it's like jumping into a cold pool. You can discern the differences IMMENSELY. And it's so hard to deal with when you been feeling so GOOD living abroad. It's super challenging for me to get used to coming back to America after coming back from vacation overseas.
But I've accepted that I'm gonna be stuck in Amerihell for probably a long time, for a few different reasons. But in the back of my mind I'll probably be planning my escape, little by little. It's crazy how bad things actually are here. A country that torments you psychologically/emotionally and spiritually simply by existing in it has SERIOUS problems.
I'm an introvert myself, not an extreme one or anything but moderately introverted I would say, so I can deal with the social isolation that I experience in America. I can just go to work and do my own thing and avoid people no problem. However, these days the lack of any deep social connection is getting tiresome. It seems I have endless opportunity to talk with the most shallow and scummy people. But people of real depth and "soulfull" individuals are really hard to come by.
I noticed that when I go overseas my thoughts become a little more shallow. Not because I'm a shallow person but because I'm happier so there is less need to think all these deep thoughts about why you are so miserable and why society is so screwed up.
I wish that things could get better in America. I recognize that there are
benefits to living in America. I remember how much I enjoyed life in the 90s. I'm not old enough to remember the 80s but some would say that was the last great America decade. I had a blast in the 90s though. For me everything started going to crap after the year 2000. It was a pretty rapid downhill slide from there. Now things are just awful. Things are so bad, that guys who have dated over three dozen women can't find one decent enough to settle down with in the States. For some guys they can barely get a date period, unless she's a whale. And no matter how well they are doing financially, the emptiness, fakeness, consumer culture, toxic social environment etc... make them miserable anyway. It's hard to win in America. You don't really live, just exist.

Dude. I have so much of a void to be filled that I have to fly to Central America MONTHLY just so what you have mentioned in your diatribe doesn't affect me to a manic-depressive point. Seriously, man. 2-Day wkend in Panama City being a mans.lut works for me then come back as a incel-volcel until 3 weeks later, do it all again. Do it like N-I-K-E, and you'll feel so much better about living in America.!!!

On most days I feel so crappy here that I'm starting to realize the only way I'm going to get through is if I think strategically.E Irizarry R&B Singer wrote: ↑August 28th, 2019, 7:00 pmDude. Even though I am tired on the weekends I might have to stay busy before the emptiness and negativity REALLY sets in. I'm sure Latin America is a social paradise, but I really like Asian countries. Perhaps, though, I'd like Europe even more. I've just barely been able to travel Europe. I'm really hoping to see several Euorpean countries sometime next year. In the meantime, it's back to the physical and mental grind.

As the old axiom goes, "Beggars cannot be choosey". Dude, get what you can get until you can get what you really want. Did you know that it's very toxic for old sperm to stay within the vas deferens and ball sack for weeks to months on end??? You might want to get my drift, and go to Central America, P4P for now. Spirit is cheap, but only bring one bag or they will charge you $60 USD for trying to sneak on another back on the plane.cheesesweat wrote: ↑August 28th, 2019, 10:24 pmOn most days I feel so crappy here that I'm starting to realize the only way I'm going to get through is if I think strategically.E Irizarry R&B Singer wrote: ↑August 28th, 2019, 7:00 pmDude. Re: Another America Rant
A cultural shift has occurred in America that most of us may just barely be beginning to realize. It was perhaps best summarized when Obama said (speaking about gender roles) "we need to work hard and be deliberate about creating truly equal relationships." That a proud and outspoken feminist and egalitarian was democratically elected to POTUS for two terms (and is still arguably very popular) should have been the signal that egalitarianism had won the day and that traditional gender roles were finished.cheesesweat wrote: ↑August 27th, 2019, 7:36 pmThings are so bad, that guys who have dated over three dozen women can't find one decent enough to settle down with in the States. Of course no one can find a woman to settle down with in the States. Women no longer play their traditional gender role of settling down while young, keeping herself pure, relying on a man, being helpful in the home, submitting to the man's authority. They are equal to men now, pursuing their own career, riding the cock carousel, etc. As such, men and women do not need each other as before, and a "truly equal relationship" is also kind of a pointless one. At least until women evolve to handle equal responsibility. (provide more, protect more, pursue more, learn to actually love men)
Until we adapt to it we have to live with the ripples caused by the cultural shift. Women are more free than they've ever been to do the things that men have traditionally done in relationships, like asking the man out on a date, assuming the risk of rejection. But they're not doing it. So the fact that some guys can barely get a date is not even their fault. We're supposed to be an egalitarian society now but women aren't doing their part! They are enjoying equal benefit without equal responsibility.
Where are the women approaching men? Where are the women offering to pay for dates? Where are the women giving expensive birthday gifts and anniversary gifts? Where are the women throwing themselves into danger to protect men?
IF we followed egalitarianism consistently men would be benefiting from it just as much as women.
Women don't need men any more? That's great! That means men no longer need to take care of women. More time for our work and our friends and our hobbies. This should be a wonderful thing. A cause to celebrate for everyone.
But...we're not following it consistently. And men are just as much to blame for this as women. More so, I'd say. How many guys do you know who are still enabling women by giving them love and money and attention and physical protection unequal to what they are getting in return? Probably most of the guys that you know. There's the problem!
Egalitarianism is here to stay so let's really start trying to make the damn thing work. Men, stop enabling women! Stop playing the traditional male gender role of giving women free shit. Obama wants you to stop doing that.

More on women
I think that because of modern society women don't need men as much as they did. I think that for some guys it's hard to admit this truth. Guys want women for sex and companionship. Women want men for security and safety. But these days women can be can be fine on their own without a man. They can move their way up the corporate ladder, become pop stars, famous actresses, business owners etc.. Now, of course women get lonely and want sex usually, but I honestly don't think it's to the same degree as men.
That's why in prison straight men end up sodomizing other guys because they can't or don't want to control their sexual urges. This is why nuns are more successful at remaining celibate than priests. This is why guys in Western countries want to be avenged via Karma against the dozens of women that rejected them. But usually this just ends up being cherry picking stories of 40 year old cat women that hit the wall.
I think that in the 1800s for example, women 100% needed men to survive, and the men were more than happy to give them that security in exchange for the "other" things.
I don't think all races of women are the same though. In my observations Asian women crave sex and relationships with men to the same level or even more so than their Asian male counterparts do. I don't even think that changes that much when those same Asian women immigrate to Western countries. They just become more picky, among other things.
I think also that the GMO and chemicals in the environment ruined the sexual dynamic between men and women in this country. Guys used to be tougher, stronger, manlier. The WW2 generation got mowed down by the thousands at Normandy beach. Would Millenials and Gen Zers have the guts to do that today? I don't think so. Women in turn, seem to be oftentimes more masculine because of these hormone manipulating foods and toxins in the environment. So that makes the whole sexual dynamic out of whack, and of course modern society where women can be independent. And like you said, men are partly responsible for letting women get this bad by spoiling them, kissing their butts, and letting them be the leaders in the home.
What's the solution? I don't know. If there's a massive economic collapse, then that will change the dynamic. Perhaps several years in the future more and more men will just go overseas to marry and some women will as well, not because they necessarily wanted to in the first place, but they see it as a better option.
Anyway, I'm just rambling now. It would be nice to see someone figure this whole thing like they had it down to a science, that would be something interesting to read. And speaking of what you said about women no longer loving men, there's a pretty good YouTube channel called "the33secrets." He has a pretty good video titled "Women don't care about you...Red Pill." Pretty interesting.
Another theory is, maybe most women were always pretty lousy companions, meaning, they didn't love men and used them like a milk cow; but men were so strong back then that they didn't give a damn. As long as they got some sex and the women gave them some children things were A-Ok. Now, guys are more sensitive and want love(from women) and the fairy tale ending too, when it never existed to begin with. Older guys would have to comment on this to talk about how it was back then. It could be that their true nature was just kept in check better back then.

I got married about 6 years ago to an Asian woman, so I'm good in that department. For me now it's dealing with the day to day drudgery that is life in America. I'm basically a drone that goes through the motions now. I'm trying to appreciate the good things that I have to make things more tolerable. But the reality is that when you live in a fricked up society, where you RARELY find a meaningful social life, live in the rat race, endure the emptiness and monotony of a society that's spiritually dead, put on your mask everyday to deal with the fake people, eat the GMO, and try to psych yourself out to get through each day it gets old FAST. I am able to take a pretty long vacation every year to visit Asia and then Europe, but I wish it was more. Re: Another America Rant
I love reading about a potential solution, especially an outside of the box one, even just for the sake of discussion. Personally, I'm expecting the antichrist to show up very soon and this whole thing to get wrapped up, not immediately but very soon. It's gonna bite people in the ass so hard it'll be like both of their butt cheeks were bitten right off. The last days, antichrist and JUDGMENT. That's my opinion.
So why am I even talking about problems with our society and asking if there is a solution?-A few reasons. I have the persistent and nagging desire to fix things in this messed up society/country/world. While being in Amerca I can't help but be weighed down constantly by all the evil going on, the corruption, the rat race, race relations, social life, lack of community, toxic food, toxic people etc... So naturally, I want to feel better; and I understand that the only way that's going to happen in America is if the country/society AS A WHOLE gets better. THEN the life of an individual gets better. As much as I'd like to think we can be independent Rambos in society it doesn't work that way for the overwhelming majority of people. Also, my kids, if I have them will have to live in this piece of garbage society, and I would like it to be more tolerable for them AT LEAST. And another reason is I enjoy having a good conversation about these things for the sake of my own understanding and for the sake of a good conversation which I almost NEVER get these days in blue pilled, sheeple retard Western Civilization/Hawaii.

edit:
Ok I'll say a bit more.
It's not just that men weren't sensitive. It was that under a patriarchal system the man had ownership of the relationship. He had the final say in all decisions, and the incentive to take care of wife and children because they were his investment. So it actually didn't matter if the women didn't love him back. Certainly there were plenty of negatives to patriarchy, but it was a system that more or less worked.
Now that women are equal to men, a woman is an independent identity that no man can own. She can walk away from any relationship (taking the children with her) at any time for any reason or for no reason at all. A wife and family is not any kind of investment any more. It's a fool's investment. So the only reason remaining for men and women to get together is for love.
But women's evolution towards loving men has been retarded over countless millennia of patriarchy as the cultural norm.
Men are evolved to love women, not to need them.
Women are evolved to need men, not to love them.
Egalitarian relationships are not going to work until women evolve to love men.
How is that going to happen? Don't ask me. Ask the egalitarians (like Obama) since they were so confident that this is a great idea. Anyway, it's too late to turn back.
I will repeat that one thing that will NOT help is our constant enabling of women. They should get nothing for free. No giving up your seat to a woman on the bus, no opening the car door for her, no buying her a drink at the bar, no paying for the first date. All those artifacts of chivalry have no place in our society now.
Why on earth do we still have a military draft in the USA, or why are women not subject to it yet? How is it fair to compel a single gender to die to protect the other? Until we are willing to send 18-year girls into combat we are not yet serious about egalitarianism.

Re: Another America Rant
I think a lot with USA is biochemical in some manner. Weirdly for me upon coming back to USA usually I actually feel somewhat positive and good for my first 2-5 days back. I feel about 90% like I do overseas, as in, like how I'm assuming normal people are supposed to feel. I'm much more outgoing, etc. Then the "creep" comes, and I just gradually feel awful. I think really it is from the fluoride or some other chemical here. After encountering people now around the world in 3 countries, I actually don't totally believe that Americans intrinsically (contrary somewhat to the nature of this forum) are awful people, or American girls are intrinsically more evil than foreign ones, etc.
One thing I think with USA that is stressful is the idea of fighting to survive. My biggest impression of USA after coming back from third world countries is that USA is in a lot of ways more third world than even the third world is. I have extended family with worse condition houses than my girlfriend in Vietnam's elderly family. The fight to survive is just really real in USA in a lot of places. You might make X dollars, but the amount that gets sucked out of you for insurance and then lifestyle things you NEED to have in USA (like car ownership) just leaves people teetering on the edge a lot of the time. So many people are just stuck in a cycle of working to pay for their car, because they need their car to get to work. Without a national health insurance you can just get financially wrecked at any opportunity. Just lots of little things just by the way USA is engineered is just to suck money out of you. An example is wood framed houses vs masonry. In Asia most houses were masonry and pretty much need no maintenance. My girlfriend's bathroom sink trap pipe in Vietnam broke. She never got a replacement, and just let water go on the floor into the central drain of the bathroom (this annoyed me...) in USA if you let that happen, all your wood subfloor, joists, etc, would rot out if you let that happen, and it would lead to thousands of dollars in damage unless you replaced the sink pipe right away. There's not really a reason why we don't have masonry houses in USA, it's just that it's more profitable to not make them, as the system is just designed to suck money out of you.

Crap, I just typed up a pretty length response, but then it got deleted. I think I'm gonna have to make this one shorter. Clearly, we have a big problem on our hands with women in Western society. (Or maybe it's just the Anglosphere)? I spend tons of time listening to other people's opinions on YouTube and different forums. So many guys, even the blue pilled simpletons seem to be coming to the same conclusions. They can't get love from women, and they can barely get a relationship with them to begin with. I wonder how did the power transfer from men to women in the U.S., Canada, Australia, UK? Surely, women didn't always have it to where they could choose the top 15% of guys, only to sleep around behind their back or couch potato around all day while he busts his butt.flowerthief00 wrote: ↑August 31st, 2019, 1:29 pmYou are onto something here!cheesesweat wrote: ↑August 29th, 2019, 8:35 pmAnother theory is, maybe most women were always pretty lousy companions, meaning, they didn't love men and used them like a milk cow; but men were so strong back then that they didn't give a damn. Women seem to be able to love to their children, no problem. But to their husband, he is the replaceable ATM. Is it just a problem in the Anglosphere, where after decades of cultural rot and having the upper hand, women can choose from the cream of the crop males and dump them on a whim for the next ride on the carousel. They can just move on to the next chump. Some guys will say this is female nature across the world but that it's just kept in check better in foreign countries where the women have not been as corrupted. That's why guys will say their foreign wife changed for the worse when they came back to America. I don't know.

Re: Another America Rant
All very good points. For me the spiritual environment is the biggest factor, but the biochemical one is no doubt a HUGE issue. Unfortunately, I haven't had the opportunity to travel as much as probably most guys on this forum; but hands down, every foreign country I've been to had better food quality, even Hong Kong which wasn't THAT much better, but still better. I think it's very possible that they have engineered the food, water, and environmental toxins to mess people up here. That's why I feel I have to work out hardcore here just to burn off some of the crap.onethousandknives wrote: ↑August 31st, 2019, 11:52 pmI think a lot with USA is biochemical in some manner. It's so true about aspects of America being more third world than the third world. America can't even keep up with the roads anymore. My state, for example, has roads that look like Swiss cheese in many areas. And they do such a half ass job or a very temporary patch job on them, if that. I was impressed at how much better many Asian countries keep up with their infrastructure. And the money thing, in my state you have to be UPPER middle class(at least) or RICH to get a decent house here. I don't know how so many people here get by. I think a ton of them just live with family and work two or three jobs.
Even more affordable places other states can be difficult because wages are so much lower, plus heating, outrageous medical care costs, long distance commuting etc.. It's not so easy for most people in the U.S. these days. Gone are the days you could pay for your college tuition, buy a house and provide for your family with an average salary.

Re: Another America Rant
Everything in USA just feels dead and decaying and lifeless. You go to Asia, have a sort of constant carnival any time you want any night at night markets, crowded mall food courts, and just seeing people everywhere all the time. Then you come back to USA and you have Wal-Mart, a couple dollar stores, and a mostly abandoned mall. You drive around alone to get to them all, you might have some friendly conversations with the cashiers or people in line, and it might be OK. But there's just no feeling of "life" with all the "for rent" signs everywhere there used to be stores and people and life. There might be one or two "sports bars" that have beer at $7 a can or something silly like that for night time entertainment. There's also the gym, where you can get jacked in preparation for the dystopian future that's either coming or already here. But most people decide to just be vegetables at home and use government subsidized streaming services like Netflix or other digital opiates, or maybe just take real drugs instead. Drugs are another can of worms entirely for socializing in USA, and one reason I hate being here.
I just miss buying a single cold beer at 7-11 for a dollar, getting dinner later, and just walking around and just... feeling alive, and feeling like myself again, and just at peace with the world around me, like I felt in Taiwan. I guess you can argue in USA you're working and in Asia you're on vacation, but in USA on vacation or if I have a week or two without work, it's just a melancholy like I described above.
