Here is my contribution to the forum for the day.

So I walk down to get a coffee. Yet another creepy weirdo down on the streets, I had already passed a dozen, this one exclaims loudly so all of society can hear : "can I have a quarter, I need a taaammmmpon!"

Seriously? The civilized places I've been in Asia are ashamed of begging, at least do it quietly. How far can a human fall, this has got to be the rocky bottom.
