So I went out last night...

to one of the bars around my area. There was a small crowd of around 50 or so people. Keep in mind I don't live in a city. There was a higher proportion of women to men but I'd say 2-3 were good looking (most were 30+in age and some a lot older) with majority of the others being very below average. There were also plenty of dikes as well. Well by midnight it got a little wild but more so than usual. Girls start taking off their shirts throwing bras everywhere, making out with other chicks, grinding half nude on the floor, passing cigarettes around, dancing on tables and puking, and cussing and screaming like belligerent baboons.


Myself being a fairly good looking guy who's young and in great shape couldn't even get a dance. My buddy, who is also young and decent looking tried to ask a girl to take a shot with him and was denied before he got a couple words out. I even got yelled at by some middle age, very unattractive and obese lady because she thought I was filming her with my phone (I didn't even have it out). The only chick really to hit on me was a short and highly obese girl who insisted to my friend that I was taking her home. Really? I'm no Brad Pitt but come on!!!!!

I mean I'm all about having some fun but where has the modesty and sense of class gone? I enjoyed this kind of stuff in college but becoming a little more mature I've noticed how ridiculous it is. Especially since I'm at the age where I could be looking for a potential mate. It's just disappointing our culture has come to this.

I really can't wait to go abroad again unfortunately it's going to be probably at least another year : (

Yea, same here. Whenever I go out to a bar or club, there are lots of women grinding and rubbng their bodies on each other. Most women just want to be left alone. If you try to talk to them they think you are a creep and get irritated.it is very horrific here in the states compared to the more natural and friendly vibe abroad.

Its kinda a honky tonk type feel with pool tables and a stage for singing/DJ. I don't live in an area with a real big younger crowd scene so most are 30+ in age and it's a more rural area so you get those demographics as well. I'm not saying all American bars are like this but they all have somewhat similar trends. Its either a sit down and socialize with friends atmosphere or the lets get completely wasted and act trashy feel. Neither are good environments for meeting females and by all means don't brush up against some wanna be tough guy or he's gonna start swinging. This was really the first time I've been out to an actual bar since my last trip so definitely a downer.

Yea there definitely seems like a lesbian vibe among them. The grinding scene in the club/bar environment is just awkward in essence. I know in college walking into some apartment party that was way over packed never phased me. It was easy just jumping in but in most clubs you gotta be damn aggressive and persistent. I can muster up the courage to talk to girls but I'm not the overly aggressive type. And you never know if a girl gives into that or starts smacking yah haha

I have seen similar scenes, albeit on a less smack-in-your-face and classier tone, in London bars and nights. Especially when all the girls are in gregarious & drunk mode: hen parties, birthdays, girls nights out etc.
I might not have much of an insight, but it's hard not to see the smiling, the close dancing, the hugging and kissing and jumping around as a goliardic thing with a feminist "we don't need 'em men" overtone.

I never considered it such a sign of massive degeneration, especially when I do see the available girls eventually (and systematically) making out with a random male stranger they had placed their eyes on when a bit more sober, or who hit them at some point in the evening.
I would personally read too much into it, but it does get annoying when I see the young ladies preferring some lesbo grind to being brought home, which is probably the initial idea they had in mind when going for an intoxicating night out in the first place

Yes, most women who go to bars and clubs in the US are NOT interested in meeting men, they simply just want to hang out with their friends.

These women are ATTENTION WHORES who like to get attention from guys but have no intention of giving out their phone numbers or going home with a guy.

I dont go in the clubs not my thing, but ive walked around outside and see who goes in and out of the area. a girl shouldnt hang out in club areas if she isn't willing to have sex with someone. Many of these girls have no intentions of sex they just come out to dance or hang out and drink or whatever. I dont see the point if i wanted the virginal type i would look for a wife outside the club. If a girl doesnt like sex that much and isn't easy and just goes to clubs for fun she comes off as boring/asexual.

Well, the fact she plays hard to get doesn't mean she is not up for grabs. Perhaps she's just being selective, and will end her evening in someone else's bed, just somebody on her fancy, Who might not be you and me, to be frank. By "thrill" of the approach I meant ensuring that she notices you, so you can maximise your chance to be the one she will wake up next to the morning after. How to do that? MOST non-White/non-Black girls who go to clubs just do it to dance and hang out and drink. Getting attention? Hell yes. Going home? Hell no.

If you pull one, then +1 to you, because getting pulled was (most likely) NOT their plan that night.
