I am always looking for people that are different than I am and I go to their businesses to embrace their food and culture. I am now searching around for my favorite Indian food restaurant. What if America had no immigrants to share their cultures with us?

In opening my eyes and looking around, I have spoken to people from Iran, Syria, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Jordan, Bangladesh and parts of Latin America. Often times they are incredibly humble and others cannot look at me in the eye.

ALL my friends are immigrants. ALL the restaurants I eat at are immigrant-owned. All of my gf's since year 2000 have been immigrants.

So I love immigrants. Literally.

But an America without the current generation of immigrants...
would have:

--FULL EMPLOYMENT for the working class (no Mexicans taking jobs)
--A BALANCED BUDGET (no immigrants dodging taxes but using social services)
--FUNCTIONING SCHOOLS (Los Angeles schools would be AWASH in money, closing and selling off unneeded schools, spending lavishly on broadband, field trips, labs, etc.)

They are maybe scared you will tell them to go back to their country or make fun of their English. Many immigrants treat me the same way- as an Anglo. They have no idea I am one myself.

In the UK, they will kiss a Bangladeshi's behind, but will be very cold and cruel to a Slovak and beat up a Serb. Same in the US. They would treat a Filipino better than many poor people from Europe.

That is where we are at, and the power elite are pretty sure the only people who can stop them from deploying this one world system are other Europeans so they are destroying western civilization by dummying it up quick.

Now with the net the whole planet is getting linked and they are in big trouble and they know it, I live in a college town and every day the kids here are becoming more aware somebody is blowing smoke up their butts and burying them in debt for that smoke.

Im Atlanta in the 1980's, being Black was bad. But nothing was despised like being "trashy".

PERHAPS... it was because a lower class of different color was no social threat. But lower class of the same color needed to be constantly put down.

Where would America be? Dead or dying, would be my guess. Non immigrant Americans aren't having enough children to sustain a steady society. Immigrants have been keeping our birthrate up. Without them, we would have a population that would be shrinking, like Japan. Actually, I think America without immigrants would be a lot like Japan today in many respects.

Just watch Spike Lee's CSA documentary-movie (i.e. the Confederate States of America) (even though it's based off if the south had won the Civil War).

In the UK, Brits feel no connection with europe, brits actually look down on eastern europeans and focus a lot on kissing america's ass and dwell on their commonwealth....

in America on the other hand, they could care less about europe, asia or anywhere... in america everyone is on their own.

I dont understand why a european should get better treatment in america than an asian..... both come from continents far away.... I think maybe those indigenous looking mexicans could claim they are Amerindians and have a right to be in America as they are the same race as the native americans and technically they are on their continent..... but a european, I really dont see why a european should be entitled to better treatment of feel that he/she is closer to the US than other nations from other continents.
