Ok so I made a post on the HA Facebook group about how my dad wants me to stay in America. I had a paragraph about the suburbs in the U.S. being hell for a young heterosexual single man, one of the reasons being that most of the women in the suburbs are taken. Then a guy comments on how women anywhere in the world are rarely without boyfriend for very long. How can this be? Are guys abroad also on multi-year dry spells? The dating scene can't be the same worldwide. If you look at the big picture, the dating scene is reversed from America in most foreign countries, especially the less economically-developed ones. Not only most foreign women are sweet and feminine compared to their American counterparts, but there's also a surplus of single women in most other countries. It's men who do the choosing, and it's the women who go on dry spells.

But for those of you who have also gone abroad, did every girl you see have a boyfriend and none single?

It seems you have no concept of completely different cultures. Before you sit down to a poker game, know who you are playing and what your assets are. Why should people be single for long? No one wants to be alone. In a healthier culture there are even less single people. It's only in hookup culture that people are serial daters with regular single gaps.

Third world countries typically have younger populations, which is crucial to having more available women. ¨Developed¨ (I've come to hate this word to refer to countries) typically have old, rapidly aging populations, which makes things a lot harder if you're just looking at numbers of women. Many third world women can't find boyfriends very easily. And even if a guy can't get a girlfriend very easily, he'll still have p4p. (And that will help him get a girlfriend.)

And family is important in these countries which is why going bareback is awesome in these "developing" countries.

In Russia there are 10 million more women than men. In Ukraine, there are 3.5 million more women than men. This explains why so many women from those countries are looking to meet men from foreign countries.

In the USA, there are 6 million more single men than single women from ages 18 to 49. Not only that, 50% of women in America are overweight. No wonder why guys in the US are looking overseas to meet women, there simply is not enough women in America (and too many fatties as well).

It's strange how American colleges and universities have more girls than guys, and guys think the dating game is in their favor. In college, most of the girls are taken while most of the guys are single. The biggest pool of single women in college is the freshman girls; guys have to act quick or that window of opportunity closes in them. If a guy in America hasn't already found someone or dated in high school, it's already too late to find dates or a girlfriend. In the upperclassmen years of college, most of the girls are already settled down with their significant others, and by 30 they're married.
