Looking to travel outside the USA...

I'm off til April 18th and am hoping that there's someone who wouldn't mind showing me around the country their living in. I know it's a long shot and short notice but I need to get out of America for a while. I'm pretty open to travel and have been overseas before. I think it's just better meeting people who know where to go and what to do. I would be staying about a week and possible help finding affordable accomodations would be appreciated.

This is a serious post. I'm 40, travel light, don't smoke, way past the partying stage, and looking to expand my world view. Thank you for your consideration.
