A typical taxi scammer in Kyiv (or other city) can make a lot of money. Say she dates 5 guys a day and collects taxi fare from all of them, plus dinners, plus gifts.

Yeah she's got things lined up with a restaurant she's working with so she can receive her commission. That's why she refuses to go to any other place.

I guess I should call her semi-honest because she knew about the scam (and didn't try to scam me.)

I dont mind payin for her dinner if you getting sex later on that night, dont go to 5 star place, genuine girl should be happy with mid range restaurant, pizza or something. Girls cant eat that much so you shouldnt be spending more than 10 to 15USD on her meal.

Make sure she doesnt start ordering fancy drinks or cocktails you never heard of, stick with modest pizza restaurants where she cant take advantage of you. Coffee shops are even better if you can get away with it.

I have experience in both Russia and in Ukraine. I never did a "romance tour" so don't have an opinion about them. However, I do think that they are not necessary. With social media and dating sites, its not going to be to difficult to get acquainted with women in either country. You could plan a trip and meet several in a trip if you wanted. Perhaps the romance tours might be good too, but I feel like they were probably more useful before everyone had access to the internet,

I would probably look in a large city a step down in size from the capital cities. I think the people in such cities are a little bit nicer. In Ukraine, try a place like Odessa. In Russia, there are lots of options.

Now for me, I am dating Filipinas.
