Interesting article.
I got really into porn at one stage. It had good and bad effects. Bad effects mean that I've been a bit de-sensitised to sexy women. I worry this could be a problem in later life, although it's still good being with a real woman. I don't find Western women hot anymore, but maybe that was nothing to do with porn - I think going to Asia might have ruined Western women for me!
It's not all bad though. I'm now immune to "sex sells" type of marketing, which has saved a fortune. And porn helped me get my sexual urges under control, and as a result of a clearer head, I made a lot of money in business. Napoleon Hill touches upon this in "Think and Grow Rich" - he suggests that sexual urges are the reason why most men don't make serious money until they're 40.
This is probably a big topic for the future. Kids growing up today have often seen *everything* online. Some dumb Americans were shocked when Janet Jackson showed a nipple. Crikey. I hope they don't find out what kind of stuff their kids have been sharing online .

Look at how weird sexually repressed societies tend to be especially India and various islamic nations get when there is a traditional denial of basic human urges. I don't see what the big deal is. I believe people in traditional societies feared the power of sex because it subverted certain authoritarian institutions like the Church. Even in the U.S. you see some examples of this sex alternates between being this great thing people obsess over to having the mainstream acting neurotic over showing a nipple on tv. The U.S. has serious issues with sex that goes way back to its puritan roots.
