the best debit card is with fidelity. they charge only 1% on all debit card withdrawls from any atm worldwide. i dont know of any other company like this. also many latin american countries have scociabank which have a similar set up with bofa debit card users "the dude abides"

I have heard that Charles Schwab (cash debit account, not brokerage account) is actually free for international ATM withdrawals. Called them and they confirmed.

Not that I've tried it yet.
