Sorry, but I'm seeking help, not offering information. I want to put together a website (or blog -- not sure which) that would be a location-oriented source of information on health, both physical and mental. I would be producing a lot of text based on my own experiences, but I see the great bulk of the site as something like the forum here, in which readers make their own contributions.

Being a technophobe, I have no clue how to get started, or what such a site should look like. Can anyone direct me to someone who can help for a reasonable cost?

And a second basic question: How do information sites such as this monetize? By getting enough hits that advertisers (in this case something like health spas) come looking for you?
