Cost of buying a farm

Does anyone know the cost of buying a business or farm abroad?

My dentist is thinking of buying a farm in bosnia for $20,000... I could certainly do something like that in Mexico, China or the PH.

Anyone have prices on these sorts of things?

The average cost here in Canada for a local business is $200,000 (with no real estate).
