Norwegian prison conditions

Post by Cornfed »

No wonder so many subhumans want to go to Scandinavia and rape and pillage. Getting caught and sent to prison doesn't exactly seem like it would be a fearsome deterrent.

Norway, which is NOT an EU member, is a strange pro-feminist society with only about 5 million people, living in a place with freezing temperature and little daylight during long winter time. The country is one of the richest in this world. All citizens are entitled to extensive social services.

The feminist feeling is so strong there, that women are clearly NOT hateful against men, but considering men as something which should be 'protected' and indeed, criminal men are entitled to the same lenient sentences and comfortable jail accomodation as women. Earning a lot of money and facing freezing temperature outdoor most of the time, criminality in general was hardly a big issue in the past. - This is changing now due to illegal immigrants importing criminality.

In their little military, there is the obligatory draft for both, men and women, all is considered as gender-neutral, and men and women sharing the same accomodation, neither rooms nor restrooms are for men or for women only.

I have seen elderly Norwegian women in a group up to their 80s, who found it perfectly normal to show up breast-free in Asian resort-hotels near swimming pools to the horror of the hotel staff.

It's not only about men should not do what women cannot - like to piss in an urinal, but also about women should do, what men can do - men need no bra, so women don't need it either.

It is true that Norwegian prisons are like a 4-star hotel also for men, often with female guards...and feminists in Norway think this is perfectly normal,
there is internet, and there are private rooms for the prisoner and visitor to socialize. Some young female prison guards got pregnant while on duty.

There are interesting reports about the few foreign men, married and divorced from their wives while living in Norway. Especially I remember a report from an US-citizen, who had to return to USA, but his Norwegian wife refused to go with him.

He was feeling so bad when facing the family court with solely female judges and lawyers and his ex-wife. He was deeply impressed how fair he was treated, 'like a woman', he was asked by the female judge if he claims anything, if he has enough income for himself, if he has a good accommodation after moving out of the house of his ex-wife, how about his future in USA - and despite he had a good income, his ex-wife did not claim anything, she was signing a paper, said friendly good-bye and have a nice trip and left the court room. 15 minutes, all done.

However even an isolated society like Norway cannot escape the reality of life nowadays, I think something will change in Norway in the near future.

Yes and no, similar to Finland, most illegal immigrants want to leave soon, it is not easy to accept this harsh winter condition and darkness, and outside of the few rather small cities is nothing. Living in Norway is remarkably expensive for newcomer, who still cannot earn the average Norway salary. Pricing of everything is about 2 times higher than in Germany, France or UK. Norway is not EU-zone, there are custom duties to pay for all imports and taxes are very high.

That's because they use prisons to rehabilitate inmates rather than punish them. Norway has amongst the lowest recidivism rates in the world, because they realize that putting a person in a box with a bunch of savages and reading them like a savage won't make them come out as a functional member of society.

US prisons, on the other hand, tend to have some of the highest recidivism rates in the world, and have a high rate of converting nonviolent offenders into violent offenders. Rehabilitation doesn't keep the prison industrial complex turning.
