They vote independent and are proud to say they helped elect and re-elect President Barack Obama.
Yet, like many other Bay Area residents who pay for their own medical insurance, they were floored last week when they opened their bills: Their policies were being replaced with pricier plans that conform to all the requirements of the new health care law.
"I was laughing at Boehner -- until the mail came today,"
"Of course, I want people to have health care," "I just didn't realize I would be the one who was going to pay for it personally."

I think this will be a wake up call for many Democrats. I'm hearing similar grumblings from even my most staunch Obama supporting friends here in Seattle. Just like the quotes suggest, they are all in favor of a National Healthcare system until they realize who really has to pay for it. SURPRISE! Sad part is I think it will only get worse.
I predict this will be good for the Libertarian Party in the long run. It's high time we has a VIABLE 3rd party to choose from come ballot time. For those of you unfamiliar with the Libertarian Platform they are progressive on social issues but conservative on monetary issues preferring small government, reduced military and reduced government spending.
I truly think that if the US is ever going to turn around we need to stop spending so much money. We need to regain control of the FED and stop being pawns for the cabal bankers. Can it be done? Yes but it's going to be difficult. Most Americans are not willing to accept a reduced standard of living. They don't know poverty and shudder at the thought. Poverty is for other countries, not the good ol USA. But we can't continue on at this current clip of spending. At what point in time is it ok to allow the poor to be poor in the US? It happens all over the world, why should be any different in this country?
Do realize this type of talk will make the Democrats blood boil but the pot needs to be stirred and things have to change FAST or we are all in trouble.

I love you man.
People are finally starting to catch on to whatever our government says you look the opposite direction and you have your answer.
So if they ever tell us they are going into a country to steal natural resources they are really finally on a humanitarian mission. just my take on it.
