That might actually happen. There will obviously be Elites more powerful than the AI who will be exempt and immune from it.

West World Season 3 is a perfect example of this.

I have recently been listing every TV series that I have watched and there's a statistical pattern. Almost every single one of them has predicted different future events in some context.
