Easiest foreign language: BBC Pidgin

@Cornfed, in particular, might want to consider one of the Pidgin speaking countries after his time in Mexico runs out. Speaking the local language is always useful and this language appears very easy for native English speakers. Much easier than even Spanish.

Here's a Pidgin excerpt from the article about transplants from pigs to humans (https://www.bbc.com/pidgin/tori-58999894). Definitely this is the easiest foreign language to start with (other than maybe Ebonics) for those who think learning a foreign language is difficult:

US surgeons say dem don successfully give pig kidney to one human for transplant breakthrough.

And dem hope say dis go later solve donor organ shortages.

The Di recipient dey brain-dead, meaning dem don already dey on artificial life support wit no hope say e go recover.

Di kidney bin come from one pig wey dem don genetically modify to stop di organ wey di body dey recognise as "foreign" and e don reject.
