This website helps people find language exchange partners for them to talk to using skype or IM (you teach them your native language X and they teach you their native language Y).

If you get to an intermediate level with a foreign language, this might be fun to try!

It's the perfect antidote to the feeling of: "Gee, I'm out here in the middle of Bumfuck, Bear County, USA. Now where oh where can I find a native speaker of language Y?"
