The problem is the disrespect the women show short men like how the guy listed the things the women said. But reality is just like men have what they physically prefer on a woman, women have what they prefer a man be. Fair game.
Women require that men be tall AND handsome AND fit/muscular/not-fat AND well off financially
while most men simply require women to be good looking/pretty and usually not-fat.
Who is being more unreasonable here?
So screw women and relationships. I just want some goddamned STD free p4p.
Also, don't give me evolutionary bullcrap about tallness.
Tallness is a disadvantage in today's society.
#1 tall people are more vulnerable to projectile weapons as they are bigger targets and cannot fit behind cover as easily and are generally not as agile or quick
#2 tall people have back problems earlier in life
#3 tall or bigger people need more food to expend the same amount of energy as more compact people and if famine were to hit or real life warfare, these guys are the first to die in famine if not the first to get their head blown off by an anti-tank sniper rifle, smaller or more compact people, meanwhile, survive famine much more easily
#4 taller may have advantage in hand to hand combat in terms of reach and perhaps body mass, but you can only have that much muscle mass if you eat a lot and have teh resources to eat that much, otherwise, you are just lanky and easy to kill, and judo/throwing and wrestling or takedowns are death for taller people]
Just remember that when Europeans were at their peak with western imperialism, they were not tall. Most men were between 5'2 and 5'10". It was only after peacetime and an abundance of nutrition after late industrialization that western/European/caucasian countries became taller. And most of these people have never seen war. And the ones who have, take Vietnam for example, the Americans, taller and bigger, but got their asses kicked by the smaller, faster, and smarter vietnamese/vietcong, who were fighting with inferior technology as well.
Nukes? Yeah use them if you want MAD, mutually assured destruction, and that still doesn't make being tall an evolutionary advantage.

tallness is really only an advantage today because of the artificial constructs of society through media imagery and glamour as well as lack of warfare and an abundance of nutrition.
tallness has never really been the most advantageous throughout history, although it does have advantages, but there are also many weaknesses.
Being of medium size and strong/compact/muscular has always been ideal. Even in the military, the best commandos are between 5'6" and 5'10". Shorter and smaller guys are better for sneaking and covert ops and more agile, while the bigger guys are still small enough not to be gigantic targets, but they can carry more gear, etc. etc.
Lone Yakuza,
You don't need to be tall to get women. Of course it helps, but i don't think that guys who are around 5' 7" ish (avg asian male hieght and many hispanics) is any kind of real obstacle.
Off the top of my head, Michael J Fox is really short, and never gets flack for it. Mark Ruffalo is only 5'8", just 1 inch taller than most Asians and gets cast as the romantic lead in movies.
I agree that height will be far less of an issue in places like Asia or some Latin nations.
And can you go into more detail about your issues with warmer climes?
You can easily visit warmer climes in winter, when they are cooler, and as Rock said, many places in the Tropics at high elevation are not necessarily hot.
I had initial difficulties with warmer weather when i was younger, but now i am better with it, although i need my A/C in my room and stuff.
The key is LINEN fabrics. It lets your skin breath. It is much better than cotton.
I seriously doubt that you have a health condition that would prevent you from spending time in the tropics. Germans live in Brazil and Japanese live in Hawaii (and Brazil). Chinese live in Singapore.
