A man in America must adjust his self-identity to what women want in order to be dateable. If a man doesnt like football, then he may play it just so he can get a date with a cheerleader. if he doesnt like a certain hair-cut or a button-shirt then he may get them just so he can be desireable by women.


When someone tells a guy to " improve himsefl" , they really mean to change his interests, habits, and identity to what women want. he may need to be a badboy because women like that.


Funny how the opposite doesnt happen. Because women tend to accept themselves and change for no man. Hence, you get the BBW thing which means Big Beautiful Women but you dont see BBM.

The reason men are more flexible because they have been stropped off their power in the dating scene. Women are more picky because they can, men cant. Men get rejected , while women generally dont.

Slight correction: there is a term called BHM (Big handsome men/man) but it is usually only used for big people parties that are held monthly, the "BHM" term is not really pervasive in the online dating world.

How could it turn out any other way? The first 12 years of most lives is spent in the care of women (mom, grand-mom, female babysitters/nannies) and under the authority of women (most k-12 teachers are female).

It's not just American women who wield "power over men", but I've seen Asian and Latin American women subtly and indirectly manipulate men to adjust to her preferences. Where it is amusing is that he thinks it was HIS idea to change when it was actually HER subtle manipulations.

Also, women....and not just American women....are always saying they want a man "who will accept them for who and what they are." But these same women are not willing to accept the MAN for who and what HE is, but will try to change him. And to the extent where he allows himself to be changed to suit her preferences, she loses respect for him.

I agree to some extent, I found in many forums men behaving absurdly like p*ssies to women or girlfriends/wives for that mattter. I came across someone who wrote a 25-page letter, emails, messages,calls basically begging his ex-girlfriend to take him back even though she moved on fairly quickly. Another one does everything his wife orders him to do I mean Anything! (submissive husband) by the way she doesn't have sex with him. For me it's painfully irritating to read those.

Men by default chase after the 80 percent thinking that by playing it safe they would be assured of finding a mate. Little did they know how the pickiness of the majority of girls today is the direct result of their collective actions.
