One of the best meals I have had so far in the Philippines was in a little hut that looked like it was ready to fall in near a public beach somewhere outside of Panabo City. It was cooked by a girl that may have been 15 years old, I am not sure. I never really know whats going on my fiance or her family members usually do the talking... I really need to learn the language.
I have found since I have been in the Philippines I eat at places I would not touch in the United States. I have eaten street food cooked by what I am pretty sure was a homeless man. I have eaten things most Americans wouldn't consider eating. Sometimes I get sick because of it.
You only live once though right?
