You answered yourself, and the answer is probably no. If you took the time to look for the "right" kind of girl, whether in the US or in the Philippines, you would probably find a more fulfilling experience at all levels and both in the short and long terms. The real elephant in the room kind of question then is: do you really know who you are, and what you will (probably) want from life 5, 10 or 20 years from now? The more you know yourself and who you want to be, the better you will know what kind of woman will make a solid, fulfilling life partner for you. That really, really is the hard part.newlifeinphilippines wrote:that was a big issue with the gf we had no connection on any spiritual or everyday level it was more like a maid/buddy buddy type relationship than a romance for me. Id imagine that while being married to the bargirl would have been awesome the honeymoon would have worn off in a couple years or at leats when her looks faded completely and then id be one miseable person. I want a simple christian woman who im strongly attracted to that wont rape me financially. I dont want to live abroad. And i dont want to lose my savings to a divorce in america. So if i pick a wife abroad to eventually come back id have to tread carefully. probably picking a virgin (or at least a virgin when i met her) who shares or is willing to convert to my religion would be my best bet.publicduende wrote:You answered yourself, and the answer is probably no. On a side note, isn't it almost cruel how AFA scoures Russia and neighbouring countries looking for photoshoots of random amateur models they can buy, put the Loveme.com watermark and present them as beautiful young things in distress looking for you, a Western man to crown their long-sought romantic dreams?newlifeinphilippines wrote:that woman is amazingly beautiful. although probably for wife id rather have a tiny petite girl with a big chest for me I like small petite women bone structure wise for partners i think they just make things better in the long run.publicduende wrote:http://www.loveme.com/invar/services/wo ... ame=5_Anna

I wonder what potential china has. Winston keeps posting these great glamour photos of chinse women.
Re: Public Market Filipinas
What I like most about going to the market in Cebu is for the first time in my life I have the undivided attention of all the women present. The minute you step inside the market you are god. While most of the women that work there are not sexy they are a few that are cute, charming, happy and friendly. It's obvious when they're "open for business".
Filipinas are usually overjoyed when foreigners express interest in their "eggs". lol

Re: Public Market Filipinas
There may not be a correlation between poverty and immorality, but there definitely is between poverty and scamming or using men. All the Filipinas who tried to scam me or ask for money or loans were very poor, no doubt. None of the middle class Filipinas did that.davewe wrote: +1
What's rarely acknowledged is that poverty and immorality are not the same thing. What's also rarely acknowledged is that wanting a better life does not make someone bad. Don't we all (even in the West) want a better life?
1. A Filipina wants a "better life" so she works hard to put herself through college.
2. A Filipina wants a "better life" so she works 60 hours a week.
3. And yes, a Filipina wants a "better life" so she appreciates, loves and takes good care of her husband, who helps provide such a life.
The moral degradation in the West does not allow us to understand that a poor person can be just as moral, ethical and just plain good as a rich person - and often better. But for many Westerners, who only see life through the lens of money and the things it can buy, the poor are the thieving wretches that Scrooge described. Such people will never find a "good Filipina" since they are barely open to even the possibility of such a person's existence.
Of course the rich can be immoral too. But their immorality is different and involves larger issues. They don't scam people out of little money like the poor do. The middle class have the most morals because they can afford them. But those who are too poor put survival above morality, and those who are too rich think they are above the law as their status and power has gone to their head. That's why the middle class have the most morals between the two.
Location also matters. If you go to Angeles City, you will meet mostly users and money hungry girls.
Also, not all of the Philippines is anti-American. I heard that Cebu is more pro-American and being seen with a foreigner there does not have a negative connotation.

I agree. There's a big difference between the behaviour of Luzon women and Cebu women, that's for sure.Winston wrote:I heard that Cebu is more pro-American and being seen with a foreigner there does not have a negative connotation.davewe wrote: +1

Can you elaborate on these differences? Ladislav said that Cebu is more romance-oriented. Is that true?Taco wrote:I agree. Women equate status with wealth. So the less money they have means the more status you have. Luzon women have more money generally speaking so they are more likely to look down on you. These are only generalizations so individual results may vary.Winston wrote:Can you elaborate on these differences? Ladislav said that Cebu is more romance-oriented. Is that true?Taco wrote:I agree. Luzon Women: more arrogant, bitchy, colder, they get mad more often, sense of entitlement, more controlling, expensive etc...
Cebu Women: more down to earth, easier to please, don't complain much, overjoyed if you ask them on a date or give them gifts, like getting love letters which makes them very horny

Thats a gross genererlizaton. You haven't even been around women in pampanga or manila. I dont have a whole lot of exposure with them myself but I remember this cute 18 year old waitress at a popular restaraunt (not a bar) super hot kind of gave me that look when she was outside her restaraunt one day in angeles. Maybe if i wasn't a monger at the time i could have courted and married a girl like that. For now on im gonna pursue high class girls like that lol
Many girls in pampanga and manila are way better than any girl i seen in cebu. Some of the nicest and friendliest girls were in angeles and they were not hookers or anything like that at all.

Im actually going to china first. I remember yousaid you been there. If you cant find a wife in china a country of counterfeit factory slaves thats more sadder than a squatter village in phil. I think they make better classier wives. I dont really expect to go wife hunting there im just curious about the country and all and want to do some sightseeing and see the christian churches there. If i like it i can go back. But i wouldn't wantt o live in china so id have to import her which im scared to do. One thing i like about phil is one could actually live there on the cheap which would fit more of my budget long term.Taco wrote:There's an honest answer. I think with the kind of dough you have you'll be able to get a comfortable living style and might actually consider staying. Think about it, why pay $1500 plus for an apartment in the bay area where you could spend a third of that and still have it all(IMO)? You'll see...
1)Too much of one thing defeats the purpose.
