Suggest a part of China for me! (not a typical guy)

I tried google search...even searching around this forum and all I find is sex...sex....sex.....

I honestly don't care at all about sex (ironically that's whats gotten me laid countless times), that comes second or third to things that I find important in someone/life.

I am currently traveling/teaching English in Mexico, but am done with this horrible place (my city not all of Mexico). Mexico is not far away enough from home (Dallas, Tx)....so....I have been researching "easy" places to possibly teach English.

China seems to pop up often, however most guys from America seem to only look for easy places to meet and bang girls....not at all my motives.

I want to live in a nice , safe fun place, with decent, open minded people (I get that open minded is a lot to ask from "Country people") but I find they are the nicest, less materialistic.

I hate bars, I hate clubs...I hate parties, I can't and won't dance. nor would I date a girl who enjoys that kind of life-style.
So am guessing bigger cities might not be for me? but am worried the way I am (rocker/goth-ish) with tattoos and blah blah might be harshly judged, to the point that would scare people?

Well anyone that can share their experience with me, based off the kind of person i am i rather hear from more family-orientated people, someone who looks for LTR vs a sex-tour.

You could always live in the suburbs of a big city like I did.

If you like home comforts (Western food, Western medicine, English speakers) then stick to a larger city like Guangzhou or Shenzhen.

Smaller Chinese cities can be pretty boring, especially if you're not just there for women.

It sounds like China is probably the worst countries you could go to based on who you are and what you are looking for. Mainland Chinese are the least open minded and the most shallow people you will ever meet, especially the women. Out of the three Asian countries I lived in they were also the least accepting of individualism, especially things like tattoos and unusual hair styles.

I would look into Japan if I were you. The youth in Japan today are a lot more accepting of your kind of style from what I hear. Maybe try Thailand too.

It's kind of a strange mix that you are into rock and goth but not partying. Here are some places you can research:

- Kunming China

- Kending, Taitung, and possibly Taichung Taiwan

- Pai, Chiangmai, and perhaps even Ko-samet Thailand

- Niche groups in Tokyo, Osaka, and other urban areas of Japan

I bet Guangzhou has the tallest and thickest women in all of China. You know how I fancy my tall and thicky women (or curvy at least).
